People often forget the road to 92 and our success in the late 80s that paved the way for the World Cup triumph.

We won this 1989 Champions Trophy and we also won the Nehru Cup in the same year. We really should've won the 1987 World Cup but choked in the semi final.

Look at the bowling attacks that day, exceptional pacers on both sides. Interesting to note both Mushtaq Ahmed and Abdul Qadir were playing, Qadir was coming towards the end of his career at this point.
