No matter how close friends Aussies are.. Take it from my experience living here.. In Sports they will sledge you no matter what. It is built in.. Any sports.. Even in a local bowling alley after few drinks..

Aussies will never be nice guys and I don't think they care too much about it. This tour was more like a diplomatic mission and they did a good job of it. The way I saw it was that it was not in mean spirit. It was actually quite funny which is why Hassan also could not help but smile. In the closing stages of the game the Aussies decided to emulate Pakistani celebrations. I saw Warner exhorting some fielders to imitate Shaheen once he gets out.

Mocking is uncalled for regardless of any situation. I remember Dravid calling out Pollard for giving a send off to Watson after Watson blitzed their attack for a big score and was later dismissed caught in the deep. I believe Dravid used the word "cowardly".

I don't think it was done in any mean spirit or for sending a message to those players who celebrate.
I could be wrong but Ive been following the socials of Aussie players for a while and they have complimented pakistan players and babar and mentioned the spirit the game was played in. No real financial incentive to suck up so it is likely genuine.

I think it was them having a bit of fun to celebrate tail end wickets. SHOULD it teach our players a lesson about celebrating too much ?...yes. But I don't think it was intentionally meant to be a lesson by the Aussies.
