So, this was what he said when we lost to Zimbabwe in 2020

https://www.espncricinfo.com/series...an-vs-zimbabwe-3rd-odi-1233463/full-scorecard

"They say that you learn lessons from a defeat but when you lose in this way, you don't learn any lessons, instead all you gain is embarrassment"

"It was not possible for a 4th ranked team like Pakistan to lose to a 12th ranked team but the reason you lose is that you are afraid of losing"

"This loss is a dark moment and we need some answers here because the way some of our newer players performed casts doubts on the quality of our domestic cricket as well"

"Senseless running, senseless shot-making with glimpses of over-confidence and for no reason this match went out of our hands"

"It is very important that our cricket does not get such shocks because we have a whole cricket industry which backs Pakistan cricket; Think about how the sponsors are feeling, think about how the fans are feeling"

"Pakistan players need to answer for a few things, they were playing senseless shots, there were no partnerships and there was lack of technique"

"Blessing Muzarabani was the only quality bowler in the Zimbabwe side, and if you look at the replays you will note how ordinary our batting was against Muzarabani"

"Apart from technical mistakes, there are also mental weaknesses; You know they say a rabbit freezes in front of headlights and thinks that he cannot survive - that is how the Pakistan team was looking like; They seemed to be expecting a disaster and failed to back themselves and showed a very ordinary level of performance in front of a club-level team"

"I am surprised, I am not able to comprehend and wondering if this needs analysis or should I be angry and if so, how angry can I get on something like this - clearly this a very dark moment in our cricketing history"

And this is his reaction now...

Yes, nothing.

Why the silence? Especially when people are happy to jump in and take credit if results go our way.

No post match dressing room video either with Babar telling his team to pick themselves up.

Showing dressing room videos and stuff reeks of self-praise. Have never liked these stunts. Dressing room discussions and speeches should remain private.

Ramiz is simply intent on promoting cricketers as brands.

I still support my team but not the decision makers who are not players.

Babar is getting way too much flak for one loss. People were very much fine with him after the loss to India but since Zim game, everyone has turned his back on him.

Should always respect the opposition.

You never know when such comments will come back and haunt you.

It's even worse when you are a former professional cricketer.

Baber made Kohli and Company settle and did not calm the team made nawas Bowl medium pace and he do not want to bar 1 Down. Babar is the worst captain in psl history. Babar Should never captain again. A captain not be selfish, wasim akram. Waqar and shoaib akhtar have Said. No more babar as captain

But what does chairman need to make a statement? The WC isnt over. And we lost. we have to move on..

If chairman gives a statement, than we fans will say oh look he is being negative and shouldn't had said that. He is chairman now, at that time he was just a commentator.

Agree with Major now is not the right time for the chariman to publicly show his reaction

Statement of support - not radio silence. Leadership.

Rameez is a narcissist and a clown who's the first to take credit when things go well, and the first to deflect blame or go missing when things don't.

There's been some good initiatives no doubt, but lots of empty promises too.

He said he wouldn't rest until we can compete in Australia and would transform the pitches, boasted of carrying a pitch-making guide in his pocket, and made big drama of hiring Australian curators.

Well our pitches for the ENG series were the lowest bouncing in T20 history so not sure what book Rameez was reading. We made the flattest pitches imaginable vs AUS in a cowardly attempt to nullify their quicks.

Then the guy has nerve to censor the commentators from criticising the pitches.

He's given unaccountable control to a visionless, tactically inept captain in Babar and paired him with an equally inept yes-man Saqlain.

After this World Cup we need a total shakeup from top to bottom with a new captain, coach, and the Chairman's wings clipped to a symbolic role.

If Pakistan had won against India this guy would have been jumping in front of TV Cameras and taking all the credit. Well time to take the heat now.

Correct and infact he did after the India win last year - Rameez went on a BBC podcast and claimed he even told Babar what fields to set !

Talk about egomania.

His youtube videos whenever Pakistan lost were full of complaints about pitches/management/structure and what not. Hypocrite of the highest order.

Can't expect the PCB Chairman to publically have a go at the team at a point like this.

Ramiz should know all about crap batsman ship. He was a third rate batsman himself who probably told our middle order to play the way they did.

Babar and Rizwan have done enough to have a few bad games.

We lost this match because Haider Ali did not contribute. We need Fakhar in the team. He should have been dropped after the England series.

The point is not about his silence now. The point is all the criticism he mentioned still stands and he’s the chairman now. What has he done about the mental weakness? What has he done about not looking “rabbit In from of headlights”?

The other point is after that statement he recently made a statement that I’m sorry, we change our mentality.

I never seen this before.

Indeed.

Lots of chat about how things will change, but it's the same mess, mentality and mistakes under his Chairmanship.

Ramiz is copying the Bangladesh cricket board chairman.
