Many of our young fast bowlers are quite quick but lack height. This young man is tall and very Sharp with a nice, high action. From what I have seen he looks amongst quickest in Domestic cricket. Let's hope he doesnt get injured like so many. I saw him bowl today and there was a hint of a very young Waqar Younis.

That was a quick bouncer. I wonder what would be the speed, certainly looks well over 140.

Picture quality is not good so can't really tell but it looks like more of a delivery after a setup. The batsman expected lesser speed due to the past deliveries

To those who have not batted over 140KM bowlers. When a better get hits because of the pace, he gets hit on the right side of the face if he is left handed batsman. If he gets hit on the left side of the face or helmet, it means that he played the ball too early and it came slower than he expected. That's exactly what happened to Fakhar Zaman against the Sri Lankan bowler today. It doesn't mean that a non-professional bowler could have played the ball. It is still fast but not fast enough for international level.

Due to poor picture quality, I can't really tell what's happening but my speculation is that it's a combination of poor batting technique and unexpected bounce.

It’s not the speed of the ball that stands out. It’s the cold and brutal attitude. Hits a batsman in the face sees him crouch over and walks past him with utter disregard. Needs to be in the 11 just on attitude alone.

We definitely need this attitude. However, a liii..ttle bit of sensitivity doesn't hurt before being on the receiving end LoL!

We need tall fast bowlers and he looks tallish. This season Sirajuddin has looked sharp and Obaid has also looked sharp but both lack control.

The softness is new sports culture GLOBALLY. I dunno if you have seen NFL games. They used to be real violent - no more.

Height although is influential when it comes to pace bowling but the most important thing is high arm bowling action

Marshall was not a tall guy but uses to bowl hard length with heavy balls

The emulation Waqar Younis and tapeball cricket has destroyed our fast bowling

Waqar Younis did not have a high arm action and did not rely on hard length. That's why he was taken to cleaners more often than Akram.

Yeah... Should do what shoiab Akhtar says, Badmaashi karo bhai... A bowler should be a gangster type...
