Manipur’s Rex Singh created history in the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy as the left-arm pacer claimed all 10 wickets against Arunachal Pradesh in Ananthpur.

The 18-year-old pacer first shone in the first innings and scalped a fifer to bundle our the opposition team on a score of 138 in 54.5 overs.

Rex continued to bowl his magical spell and went on to dismiss all 10 batsmen in the second innings. Five batsmen of Arunachal Pradesh were dismissed on a duck. Rex bowled a spell of 9.5-6-11-10.

Good swing and he can swing the ball but couple of poor lbw decisions. Bowler was in danger zone most of the time. I guess umpire was sleeping..,

It is heartwarming to see cricketers coming from the North East. These folks produce excellent sportspersons. I hope cricket doesn't kill other sports there.

Manipur vs Arunachal for the first season and we have this amazing talent shining through. Great to see. In next 3-4 years, we will have at least one player in national side from these states - Bihar, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Pondicherry

I hope finds success , it could lead to more folks there picking up cricket.

He has an awesome name - Rex.

I have a feeling he is chucking. But he is getting a lot of swing at good pace. Reminds me of Irfan Pathan when he burst into the picture initially.

I am surprised no IPL team gave him a chance. The likes of Mohit Sharma, Barinder Sran are still playing IPL

Wow. Getting 10 wickets is no joke (at any level). Great feat, hopefully BCCI will nurture him and he may represent India in near future l

Wow, unbeleivable stuff. He looks like a Sam Curran type bowler, looks very short though.
