Its just the second match of the tournament but I dont we will see a better catch than this in this season. Amazing catch

Nice display of ball catching. I think the training session earlier with Malik paid off.

Damn, that was one helluva catch!

Don't think many catches will beat this one.

This is from a guy who is now in his early 40's. Not bad at all

Excellent catch, one of the best in Pak Cricket along with his catch in the WT20 vs New Zealand

Pretty good catch, nothing more. He's moving like a buddha now.

I dont see why people think throwing the ball in the air and jumping back over the ropes is a difficult skill?

I think ex cricketers who used to play when fences were the norm see this is a new skill and get overwhelmed by it.

It's not really thought of as a difficult skill nowadays I guess, such catches are quite common. I guess the one-handed take and then subsequent presence of mind in that situation is still laudable. Afridi isn't always known for his composure.

Fair point. I guess the difficulty is knowing where the rope is and keeping your balance.

Lala's ball handling skills improving day by day.

Myself and my niece loved it watching it live! Such cases have indeed become a norm over the last two to three years, but forget not three things: Afridi´s age (from what I remember, most of such catches on the boundary have been taken my young fielders like Steve Smith, Guptill, Pollard etc.), the fact that is a Pakistani fielder, and of course the full stretch of his body when he stops it inside the fence - possibly the hardest part of his catch. Marvelous!

Live long, man!

Lala's catch is easily bettered by the signature that you've got going tho

Haha. Well, my signature betters many things of the world. How unbelievable was that moment, how encouraging are these words from her. :)

Let's hear it from die hard Lala fans! "He should be back in the international side":P

A good catch. He could've stayed inside the boundary easily. Going outside the boundary and then coming back was a bit of a drama as expected from him.
