Ahluwalia did not hesitate in his response: We have seen 1984 (when the Sikhs were butchered in Delhi). We have seen the violence and how closely we were targeted. Now we see the Kashmiris being targeted after Pulwama, we cannot accept this.”
What about the charge that we see on the social media, of Sikhs supporting the Kashmiris because they are Khalistanis?
“That charge has been levelled against those who go against the interests of those in power. You are Pakistani, you are ISI, we have heard all this before and now again as well,” he said adding that this trolling did not phase him, and would not deter him from standing up for those who needed help at any point in time.
Great stuff from the Sikhs.

And some interesting quotes from the above link.
From the article:
The girls were escorted to Srinagar. The Army provided vehicles and along with the volunteers each girl was taken to her home, amidst joy and tears of relief. The families had not been in touch for two weeks then, and the relief was palpable.
So Ahluwalia said that then the girls did not need to be accompanied, but that finally four Sikh volunteers had to go with them as they were scared to go with the soldiers.
Also from the article, four kind Sikhs went with them all the way. Obviously Indian army can't be trusted.
Everyone knows the indian armed forces gets up to.
Sikhs trust the Indian army based on that article...they don’t trust politicians in power, which no one should.
How did you deduce that?
Met my Sikh friend after a long time, we were talking about the Kashmir issue and he said that Modi has ruined the country.
He was immensely disappointed with Modi and said Imran Khan has outsmarted Modi diplomatically.
I am south indian but married to a Punjabi woman who also keeps the Sikh faith. Her dad and mum dislike Pakistan with a passion that I could never understand being from the south and further having lived in the US since I was a teen and having dated Pakistani girls when I was younger. I think it goes back to partition and how much their families suffered and lost during moving from Peshawar and Gujranwala to India.
So take it from me. Sikhs are no friend of pakistan. You may find a south indian like me have more of an open mind than you would any northern indian person particularly not Sikhs who were deeply impacted by the partition
Thanks to the Sikh community. I feel the Sikhs are feeling that once chaiwala Modi is done with the Muslims he will come after them. Need to support the Khalistan movement.
Bro I thought you're meant to be an educated guy with your mickey mouse degree in mechanical eng, hasn't it ever occured to you that an independent Khalistan would put them at a severe strategic disadvantage neighbouring two nuclear powersbloody hell check this guy JaDed
) On top of that a nation founded primarily on religion will be driven by what is deemed to be pious rather then policy and other minorities would be discriminated against in addition to culturual sikhs, commerce in the Punjab wouldn't be so simple either. What needs to happen is the extinction of BJP along with Modi.
