Shadab to Moeen: Bhai, kuch sikhado, Saqib ko kaise six marun

Moeen: I really don't know my own form is bad innit. I am afraid I'll be dropped

Rashid to Shadab: I am ur bhai, I'll help u. When he bowls, just move away, and cut it over the point fielder

The advice is to do what AR does and bowl traditional leg spin. As I stated on here before Shadab struggles to spin the ball because he bowls from underneath his hand and not with the traditional method of bowling from the side of the hand. To put it in lay terms Shadab bowls his leg spinner like an off spinner would. This is also more difficult to control and hence the number of short balls he bowls.

We asked Moeen and he said that both Adil and he were saying how they felt Shadab could have bowled on this wicket.

Really nice of them to take the time and good for Shadab to have asked/listened as well.

Off topic but who's the guy that walked past them at the 10 second mark? Looks..... like Azam Khan's competition. :)

This chat went on for quite a while after the final T20I and Moeen and Adil were doing a lot of explaining to Shadab.

I know that both Adil and Moeen like Shadab and rate him as a cricketer.

Shadab needs to start picking up these tips and using them in future.

Do you think the England Team Management mind such conversations?

Good on them for sharing tips and imparting their knowledge. This kind of thing is always great to see.

Good to see, maybe Shadab can implement that advice into his own bowling and the plans that he sets for other batsmen.

Shadab has the potential to succeed for Pakistan across all formats, but he needs to address the technical issues in his bowling action.

Was Sharjeel trying to eavesdrop lol?
But good to see players across the teams talking cricket.
