Lazy shots, lack of game awareness, nerves, or plain simple unplayable deliveries?

That there is an obvious weakness against Bounce.. which is worrying sign in Australia. The Test Record in Australia makes sense now as well.

2019 WC vs West Indies, 2015 WC in Australia vs Windies and this game,
it's clear that this is a structural weakness. Just like India struggle with Seam off the pitch.

Leave the pull shot at home

They can only bowl 1-2 short balls and just look to take singles off them. Don’t try to be Hritik Roshan by taking it on every time!

Then target the Indian medium pacers in the death overs with 6-7 wickets in hand.

Nothing!! Neither our batsmen nor our signboard head coach don't have any ability to learn. They will fail same way next match against India. SL or even Afghans will apply same bounce technique and our batsmen will crumble again.

Should have been apparent from Babar's dismissal but seems no one paid heed.

leave the pull shot or learn to ramp it. also need haider in the team, chacha, khushdil and asif are all finishers, need to drop one, khushdil most likely.

Should play the bouncer well...If you simply aren't good enough to play a bouncer then just leave it....Why can't a bouncer not be a dot ball ...A bowler usually bowls a bouncer to push batsman on backfoot.....If a batsman is smart enough he doesn't need to go biserk over a bouncer....just try to manage it safely...

Are these all new things for an international side.

Or put it this way, how did India realize that this was our weakness?

Pakistan just don't have batsmen who can play bounce well.
Umar Akmal when first came to the scene he was a very good backfoot player but he has gone way too downhill.

Only babar is good at playing short ball.others are just not skilled enough.

Why don't you teach them then? Or show them how it's done?

These are the best 6-7 batsmen in Pakistan, have some faith.

I am pretty sure Indians must have watched plenty of videos of your batsmen.

That after the first 8-10 balls don't give any respect to indian bowlers. Arshdeep, Avesh, Bhuvi they never have a plan B when the opposition attacks.

If fakar goes after arshdeep like he did after Starc last year then arshdeep won't be bowling those Yorkers but full tosses.

My point is if we know the issue - why not solve it!
Solving that needs time. Indians have been similarly terrible against short balls not long back and even the likes of Ganguly tried hard to overcome that. That changed with the new breed of players and changes in domestic pitches and fast bowlers.

Better team won that day. Someone was gonna lose and it was us.

Babar and rizwan are top quality players and hopefully they will do well on sunday

We need to bat at a much faster speed. I always feel we are behind the eight ball batting 1990's way. Fakhar has been living on his century versus India in the CT final for years. Do the business or get out of the team, lad! The hundred should come up in the 12th or 13th over versus a powerful batting side like India.

Let's see if the short ball will do us in again or have we learnt.

This I agree with totally.
