One of the most frustrating players to play for Pakistan.

He is from the same mold of Sahibzada Farhan, Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, Agha Salman, Imran Farhat, Shan Masood, Taufeeq Umar, Sami Aslam, Yasir Hameed, etc.

But somehow, even less accomplishing than all of them.

I'd be surprised if he's picked for the next few KK matches.

There a few problems he has which he needs to work on (in order of importance):

1) His shot selection (perhaps lack of IQ) / and ugly hacks - biggest cause of his downfall
2) He has some faults with his technique - extremely high backlift and poor head positioning
3) Slightly following on from number 2 - He can’t face extreme pace or spin

Does this mean there is no hope? I disagree, I think if he fixes issue number 1, it will allow him to work on his other weaknesses. He has fundamentals of a good batsman, but fixing these issues will be difficult.

i dont see any team going for him in psl 9, maybe as a supplimentary pick, if that... there is no hunger, grit, game awareness or common sense...

So much can happen in the next few months before PSL 9.

You cannot predict PSL 9 selections while PSL 8 is still in progress.
