ICC have kicked off their one

With two weeks left until the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 kicks off, the event’s official anthem, 'Dil Jashn Bole' has been released. This anthem is the result of a fantastic collaboration, starring the internationally acclaimed superstar Ranveer Singh in the lead role with the sensational music created by Pritam, one of Bollywood's most coveted composers.

The anthem takes fans on an epic journey through India on board the One Day Express, witnessing a never seen before celebration ahead of the biggest Cricket World Cup ever.

Oh dear....so cringe. It feels more like IPL theme song...don't have the gravity for the world cup.

Nothing beats 2011 De Ghoomake or Char Chokka Hoi Hoi that Bangladesh created for 2014 T20 WC. Even Impossible song from 2015 WC was very catchy.

Why take these bollywood walas and ruin it man? They could have shown more about Bharat and things we take pride on like Space tech, Make in India, our diversity in culture etc etc.

Ranveer Singh dancing is the last thing I want to see.
 
How is this the Biggest CWC ever? ICC seems intent on reducing and marginalizing cricket with every edition of the WC by excluding associates.
 
I really liked the 2011 World Cup theme song. It had a different vibe to it. The new one might not be the one I will be listening to for the 2nd time.
 
Cringe is the only world coming to mind.

Looks like it’s solely aimed at Indian people.

Ranveer seems to be the go to person these days.
 
India should be doing better than this with the kind of music talent they have in their country.

Disgusting and repulsive. I’m thinking of boycotting the World Cup if they play this at the Pakistan games.

I am willing to pay 50,000 PKR so I don’t have to watch any match with this pathetic “song” playing. Anyone know of such subscription to no-ads World Cup broadcast?

They’ve forgotten their culture.
 
this is probably one of the worst ICC world cup song ever made. Very cringy and very IPL type of feel. Even the mascots lol ...
 
Absolutely awful. 2011 was terrible and this one is much worse. Their music just sounds extremely cringe, perhaps it suits the Indian audience as its similar to their bollywood tunes
 
Some complaints that the Pakistan flag is a little small in this video - think the flag size is the least of our problems.

After listening to official anthem of CWC23 i have realized anthems of all edition of PSL are masterpieces. Even Bangladesh composed a fantastic and energetic Anthem for T20 CW 2014.

Not expecting such a low quality anthem from India who have so much talented people in the Music industry.
 
Based on the amount of criticism this song has received, I believe ICC may decide to remove this song. :D
 
The only one I ever liked was the 2003 one. Perfectly suited for a South African World Cup.

As per Ali Zafar, he is busy making a theme song for Pakistan...
 
This type of theme song should be played at any kids theme park, they will better enjoy it not the cricket fans.

Huh woow this is like million times better than the trainwreck bolly trash India prepared. This is what you call an anthem and beats are fantastic which feel like an anthem. Want this to be played in Ahmedanad final which iA Pakistan ll be playing :)
 
Pakistani singer Ali Zafar on Saturday released a song on his official account on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) for the ICC World Cup 2023

He earlier announced that he was going to make an anthem for the ICC World Cup 2023 amid public criticism over the official anthem titled ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) last month.

This announcement came after fans requested Ali Zafar to make an anthem for the ICC World Cup 2023 of his own as the official anthem, which was composed by renowned composer Pritam failed to live up to the hype and met with massive criticism on social media.

ICC World Cup 2023 had the world anthem ever. Even after watching Australia winning the World Cup, couldn't get any thrill vibes from the song.
