May you have many more sir, you brought true to joy to the fans of cricket game all over the world and to this day you remain the destroyer of any bowling lineup,

'To me Vivian Richards is the greatest cricketer ever, without a shadow of doubt he's far better than any other batsman' Imran Khan"
Happy 60th birthday!

A great great fielder too,

King of Sixes

I remember him stepping across his stumps to blast Botham's outswingers through midwicket. Best batter I ever saw.

I remember watching him Live in Gujranwala stadium, hitting Qadir for big a six and the ball fell on the top of the tent and rolled back into the stadium,

By witnessing what he did to the great bowlers of the past era, i cant imagine what the poor turndlers of today would have received from him,

one of the true legends of the game, not only for his skill, but the spirit and style with which he played.

I know many won't agree but for me Viv remains the greatest cricketer. Talent, skill, power, heart, this guy had it all.

Happy Birthday Sir!

Spot on with the description on the gum chewing and the swagger. To me he looked more like a gladiator(without a helmet or an armor) than a cricketer.

Long live Sir King Viv :)

a belated happy birthday to the best batsman i have had the pleasure of watching

king viv

Arguably the greatest batsman of the modern era

Happy Birthday , Viv

It is also Ross Taylor 's birthday today . :kami

Happy Birthday, 'King' Issac Vivian Alexander Richards!

Happy 63rd Birthday, 'King' Viv. Will admit, found about our all dearest King's Birthday by looking at Sachin's post on his official FB page.

Jon Farriss has released a song dedicated to the 'King' on his 63rd Birtday, here it is -

Take a bow, everyone!!!!
