What's new

[VIDEOS] What's next for Cristiano Ronaldo?

I've followed Cristiano's career back from his Ferguson days. He's been my 2nd favorite player after Messi and I often laugh at people who view the two as a black or white thing. It's really the loss of a fan if he took sides and missed out on watching two of the greatest players in history - one of them, being the greatest ever.

But if Cristiano settles for a Saudi deal, that would be a disappointing end. He should just have quit if no one else will have him. I remember him dismissing any such move to lower leagues like China or the Gulf on a talk show - most probably it was Jonathan Ross. Said something like - he wouldn't want to lower himself and his achievements.

I'm no fan of his but I don't blame him one bit

He's finished at the top level so why not go and make an obscene amount of money

CR7 has been targeted by the Western media since he showed public support for Palestinian and Syrian children, calling them "Heroes".

Now CR7 will help promote and solidify Football in the ME.

There are goals scored on the pitch, and goals achieved off the pitch, CR7 leads in both categories.

CR7 is the undisputed GOTT.

I really don't care about players moving to lower leagues. Didn't care when Torres, Xavi, Iniesta did it or when some others like Pires came to the ISL. But Cristiano was pretty clear about finishing at a top league. It's more about him going back on that principle.

Any links to those comments as I don't recall reading about them or seeing them?

Just look up Ronaldo, Jonathan Ross on youtube. Not sure I can post it here. The whole show is there. It's a really fun interview and Cristiano as always, interesting to listen to.

Cristiano Ronaldo joins Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr until 2025

Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr on a deal that runs until 2025.

The Portugal captain, 37, is a free agent after leaving Manchester United following a controversial interview in which he criticised the club.

Al Nassr - nine-time Saudi Pro League champions - described the signing as "history in the making".

The club said it would "inspire our league, nation and future generations to be the best version of themselves".

Ronaldo mocked Xavi in 2016 for playing in Qatar. Six years later, he ends up in Saudi after getting rejected by every UCL club.

Life comes at you fast.

Technics 1210, your “GOTT” (whatever that means) will not be benched anymore. What a relief.

Superb news for CR7! A fantastic investment for the Saudis, and the perfect end for the GOTT, who ended up with records spanning from highest number of Goals in the CL, to winning more Ballon d’Or points for club and country vs Messi (1891 vs 1648).

I am pretty sure he will end up being one of the richest footballers in history, if not, ever.

As the great Pele said : Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in world football - and the Portuguese would be my first pick over Lionel Messi if I were a manager.

CR7 - the legend lives on!

His principles were fine, just mother nature catches up with you at this level. I wouldn't berate him for staying fit and hungry, but even the healthiest 37 year olds can't compete forever. Messi is 35, let's see where he is in another two years.

From getting kicked out of the starting XI at Manchester United to getting kicked out of the starting XI by Portugal in his last World Cup to getting rejected by every CL club to finishing his career in Saudi Arabia, it has been a truly disastrous end for the distant second best player of his generation.

The icing on the cake? Watching Messi win the World Cup & the Golden Ball in the same World Cup where he was kicked out of the team. Beautiful.

The great Pele also said the following in 2015:

The debate surrounding the greatness of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo may never reach a consensus. That said, Pele, one of the greatest players to ever step on the pitch, believes the edge goes to the Barcelona and Argentina stalwart.

BBC Sport passed along comments from the 74-year-old Brazilian legend. He recognizes the two superstars don't play the same type of football but thinks Messi holds the overall edge for his play over the past decade.

"At the moment people always try to compare Ronaldo with Messi [but] it's a different style," Pele said. "They are two great players, but in the past 10 years the best in the world was Messi."

What a graceful end to CR7’s career, compared to the humiliation bestowed by Messi’s and his childhood club (Barcelona) who dumped him for being greedy and selfish. Those Messi tears in 4K, and that Kleenex tissue move, are comedy gold compared to CR7’s sincerity as he bowed out of the WC.

No doubt footballers in the twilight of their career will be following CR7’s lead.

CR7 - always was, and will forever be, the trend setter!

It is indeed sad end for CR7, not sure why he couldn't find a place in Europe. Despite his antics he would have definitely found a club that would have benefited from it and could have gone to CL next year, not sure if wages was the issue or something else is going on, I mean Ibra is still playing in Europe at 40 plus. Hard to understand why something didn't work out. I be pretty surprised if in the end money was the issue.

He left Man United because he wanted to play Champions League football, but he ends up joining Al Nassr who aren't even in the Asian Champions League. :)))

What a fall from grace. Had Ronaldo gracefully accepted that father time caught up to him and not done that interview with Piers Morgan, he could still be at Man United playing an important role as a senior and experienced player. He could have potentially helped Man United win a trophy this season and could have retired at United, in front of a packed 75,000 stadium. Instead he goes to Al Nassr after getting rejected by every single champions league. It couldn't have happened to a more arrogant person.

It's Ronaldo ego that prevented any of the big champions league clubs for going in for him. No club wants a bad apple in the dressing room who will throw his toys out of the pram after getting dropped from the first team. If Ronaldo was humble enough to accept that he isn't the player he once was, some big clubs would have been in for him.

Al-Nassr have DOUBLED their following in just a few hours since announcing the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Ronaldo effect - the highest paid athlete in history!

I actually don't blame him for going after the money, it's not a normal amount.

The reality is that he's finished at the top level so why not maximise your income.

The issue however is that his interview with Piers and the interview with Jonathan Ross (both clips which I watched recently) suggested it's not about the money and he wanted to retire with "dignity" and not in such a place.

I do think his priority was to play CL football but no decent team made him an offer and smaller clubs that would have guaranteed him a starting role couldn't offer him the kind of money it would take.

Have to say as a Messi fan what a glorious month December 2022 has proven to be. Messi lifts the World Cup whilst being player of the tournament and Ronaldo only manages 3 completed passes as Portugal are dumped out and then he pretty much retires.

Go home, article from 2016:

https://news.sky.com/story/ronaldo-best-player-in-world-says-pele-10313479

You cannot even Google properly!

Pele endorses CR7. Nuff said, you can have the last word.

:)))

I can Google properly, but it appears that you cannot read properly.

Maybe you should read your own articles that you Google.

This is what Pele said in 2016:

"At the moment the best player in the world is Ronaldo,"

I totally agree with this. Ronaldo was better than Messi in 2016. He outscored him in both La Liga & UCL in 2015-16 & also produced a man of the match performance in the UCL final vs Atletico.

By 2016, Messi had already established himself as the GOAT, but in that particular year, Ronaldo played better. He was the best player in the world in 2016 & it was the only period in the last 10 years where Ronaldo outperformed Messi.

On the other hand, in the article that I quoted from 2015, Pele said the following:

"They are two great players, but in the past 10 years the best in the world was Messi."

Pele clearly recognizes that Messi is a better player than Ronaldo based on the past 10 years. Anyone who knows anything football would agree with this assessment.

There have been moments like 2016 etc. where Ronaldo was better temporarily, but overall, Messi was clearly superior & by 2022, it is not even a comparison. Ronaldo has gone from clearly inferior to someone who cannot even lace Messi’s boots.

What is Al Nassr? Seems to be a backwater club.

Pele has said Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in world football - and the Portuguese would be his first pick over Lionel Messi if he were a manager.

Unless Pele changed his opinion above from 2016 (which is after his statement in 2015 of course), to the point of his passing in 2022, nothing has changed as far as Pele's opinion on CR7 since 2016.

The King of Football's first pick is the GOTT of Football, CR7, since 2016, despite what second place Messi has achieved since then.

Anyway, Pele is no more sadly, but CR7 lives on!

CR7's new contract breakdown:

€6.5 per second
€386 per minute
€23,150 per hour
€555,555 per day
€3.888M per week
€16.67M per month
€200M per year

CR7's contract makes him the world’s highest-paid footballer surpassing Kylian Mbappe’s contract with PSG.

Not bad for a 37 year old, past his prime, egoistic, arrogant, exiled footballer, with the highest number of followers for any person on Insta (now at 520M).

Money does matter, we cannot hide from this fact. Football is an entertainment business, and CR7 is still box office draw.

CR7s contract is a reflection of his value to the global game.

For someone who is not a naturally gifted footballer, CR7 has proven beyond all doubt that hard work and determination pays off, in spades.

Ronaldo is a superstar. He will earn a fortune long after he is retired. Beckham was one of the highest played footballers until recently if I am not wrong.

Messi will also continue to earn a fortune for years after his retirement. He Adidas line alone will bring him millions.

Ronaldo was very talented. You cannot achieve what he achieved with hard work alone. However, it is true, he was not a genius like Maradona/Messi/Pele & had to work harder than them to end up a level below them.

Ronaldo stayed true to his word.

In his Jonathan Ross interview he mentioned he wouldn't go to UAE, Qatar or Dubai.

He hasn't.

Plans change in life, it’s a bit harsh holding him to those words given what he has already achieved in football. When you look at how things turned out at United and how the World Cup went, perhaps he has come to the realisation that this is it, we also need to consider that no other CL club wanted him allegedly. So the move itself shouldn’t be ostracised as it doesn’t seem like a matter of just grabbing a big bag.

Looking back, Ronaldo should have joined City and ended his career there, biggest mistake he made was joining United. He was in lethal form in that first season and may have even helped Pep win the CL

I can tell you he is eagerly awaited in Saudi!

What a step down.

I guess he's going there for the nice weather.

As a Man U legend he could never have joined City. That would also be a big mistake.

Pep never wanted him. Man City rumours were only there so Man United could act quickly and sign him.

He also wasn't in lethal form for Man United last season. He went many games without scoring. His goal tally at the end of the season looked fine, because he scored a couple of hattricks and braces, but he went many games without scoring a goal.

Regardless of what I think of Ronaldo, he is a massive brand, and him signing for a Saudi Arabian club is a big positive for the growth of Asian football.

Think the deal per annum is worth $70 million in salary and $200 million in sponsorships.

Eye popping numbers.

CR7 has pulled a masterstroke, but I do not think he has realised it just yet.

ME is where the money is now, not USA, not China, and certainly not Europe. ME also is an untapped potential and opportunity for the game. With Qatar having hosted the greatest WC in history, it will not be surprising to see ME host global sporting events, including the football WC, in the future.

CR7 could’ve ended his career in Europe, but at what price? Given his age he’d hardly make a difference on the pitch, and would earn one last hoorah in Europe. With him at Saudi now, not only can he make a difference with his footballing skills and experience, but will play an integral role in promoting the game in the ME, as well as being an ambassador for the Saudi WC bid.

Mark my words, this time next year, we will see other prominent European footballers join clubs in the ME in the twilight of their careers, and when they look back in 50 years, CR7 will be accredited with the one who started it all.

Seen a few posts that his contract supposedly allows him to go on loan to Newcastle next year if they make the championships league.

Seems like fake news/nonsense but would be very interesting if true.

He's way past his best. He is on a fast decline, as can be seen by even being dropped by the Portugal coach in the Middle of the World Cup, considering that up until that point, he virtually chose the playing eleven that started matches.

The Club Al Nasser, the players and the coach are soon going to find themselves in the same dilemma as Man Utd and Portugal. Considering the backing being given behind the scenes by both the Saudi govt and Saudi authorities for this move, would the Al Nasser coach dare to drop him, or even sub him off, if he's doing poorly as he was at United and with Portugal at the end? How would his teammates feel if that doesn't happen and they're having to bust their guts to make up for his poor display game after game? He's fast losing his speed and reaction times, two of his great assets.
And that process of decline is only going to accelerate. Unlike Ibra and others, CR7 doesn't have the game, or the desire, to change his style to compensate.

At this stage, he's also going to become more and more injury prone. He was already starting to do that. This will even cause a dilemma for opposition players. Should they go in for a hard tackle on him? What if they're the one who injure him and he's on the injury list for a while? Being the Saudi football, and Saudi tourism's poster boy, CR7 out with injury will be a major problem, including for the player who caused it.

There is no way on earth I can see this lasting more than one season, certainly not until mid 2025. Maybe not even one full season before the problems, aka at United, start to rock the boat.

Nice gentle retirement for him.

Lots of money, not a high-profile league, nobody there to stand up to him from the team mgt.

Piers Morgan: "If it was just about money, you'd be in Saudi Arabia earning this king's ransom, but that's not what motivates you. You want to keep at the top."

Ronaldo: "Exactly"

What was the point of the interview with Piers Morgan?

CR7 wanted to leave Man U back in June, Man U wouldn't let him go, he then plays a masterstroke with his interview, speaks the truth which almost every Man U fan agreed with, especially his views on the state of the club and Glaziers, which gets him sacked, but more importantly, he becomes a free agent and is now the highest paid athlete in the world!

This is how you bail from a contract with no penalties.

The OG move.

What was the point of the interview with Piers Morgan?

Beyond his gripe with United/Hag, perhaps at that point he still had certain ambitions, surely the World Cup humbled him somewhat and it dawned on him where his career is? I don’t agree with when he done that interview

Ignoring the Messi/CR7 rivalry and focussing on how he is ending his career from a legacy standpoint, sure in Europe there is respect (despite him already achieving so much there) from an individual stand point but isn’t this way bigger ? in terms of impact on football in the ME/Asia, Saudi are just coming off their greatest win (over world champions) in their history and in terms of their growth / impact in the wider region, this is huge. Promoting the game should count for something to besides the stereotypical narrative the western media like to spew.

Only hours after Cristiano Ronaldo penned a two-year contract with Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr, crowds flocked to a football kit store in Riyadh to buy the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's new club jersey.

Abdulmohsen al-Ayyban, 41, and his nine-year old son, Nayef, were among those queueing at Al Nassr club's official kit store on Saturday where clerks where busy pressing Ronaldo's name onto t-shirts.

"We are witnessing a historic moment," al-Ayyban told AFP of the deal which he believes "will elevate the Saudi football league".

Ronaldo on Friday signed for Al Nassr until June 2025 in a deal believed to be worth more than 200 million euros.

A wide smile stretched across Nayef's face as he proudly held his new jersey aloft.

For the young Saudi, a dream has come true.

"I have always wanted Al Nassr to acquire the best player in the world," he said. "I will make sure to watch all his games at the stadium."

Ronaldo, 37, is expected to appear before fans next Thursday, an official from the Al Nassr club told AFP.

For Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo is the latest high-priced sporting jewel acquired to add lustre to their international image.

At home, the deal further fuelled national fervour that spiked after the kingdom defeated eventual winners Argentina in the early stages of the 2022 World Cup, a victory hailed as one of greatest shocks in the tournament's history.

An unprecedented rush at the Al Nassr kit store started as soon as reports of the deal were leaked to the local press on Friday night -- hours before the official announcement.

Abdulqader, the store manager said queues snaked all the way outside the shop and have only grown since.

T-shirt stocks have nearly emptied, pushing customers to bring in their own to have the player's name printed on them -- a process which will take up to two days.

"I have never seen anything like this in my life," Abdulqader told AFP.

Social media explosion
Inside the store, a festive mood prevailed, as Lebanese, Egyptian and Chinese nationals bolstered the massive number of Saudis hoping to get their Ronaldo merch.

"I have been a fan of Ronaldo since I was a child and now the Saudi club I support has bought him... my joy is doubled," said Saudi university student Mohammad al-Johni, decked out in the Al Nassr club's official shirt.

"I will be the first person attending his welcoming ceremony," the 23-year-old added.

Rakan Mohammad, a 21-year old university student, echoed the excitement.

"The deal confirms the value of the Al Nassr club," he said. "Enthusiasm and expectations are high."

On social media networks, Al Nassr's channels saw a major boost.

Millions of new users followed the club's Instagram page, bringing the total tally to nearly 4 million, up from around 800,000 prior to the announcement.

"The impact of the deal has already been felt, even before Ronaldo arrives in Saudi Arabia," Ahmed Al-Zabani, a 19-year-old Saudi university student told AFP.

"The impact will continue to grow in the days to come".

Many Saudis took to social media to praise the move.

"The dream has become a reality," read an Instagram post by a shop printing Ronaldo t-shirts in the colours of the Al Nasser team.

The comments quickly flooded in with customers requesting shirts in their size.

"A picture for the history books," wrote one Saudi user on Twitter, captioning an image of Ronaldo holding up his Al Nasser jersey.

Ronaldo heads to the Gulf after a year that saw him relegated to the bench for Portugal and cut adrift by Manchester United.

United parted ways with the Portuguese star after the veteran forward gave an explosive TV interview in which he said he felt "betrayed" by the club and had no respect for coach Erik ten Hag.

United terminated his contract while Ronaldo was with Portugal at the World Cup.

Beyond his gripe with United/Hag, perhaps at that point he still had certain ambitions, surely the World Cup humbled him somewhat and it dawned on him where his career is? I don’t agree with when he done that interview

It felt to me like he was deliberately trying to get himself sacked by United so that he could engineer a final payday elsewhere.

It ain't that bad a decision for him personally, even at the fag end of his career, he will still wear the highest paid footballer tag. People forget that making big money gives you a very different kind of high.

International channels are inquiring about the rights to transfer matches (Al Nassr) to broadcast them in Europe.

“I don't care about people saying things about this choice. I took my decision, I am happy”.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has just told Sky Sports there is "no truth" in the rumour that there is a clause in Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Al Nassr that he could join Newcastle on loan.

"We wish Cristiano all the best in his venture but from our point of view there's no truth in that," Howe has said.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Former Manchester United forward unveiled as Al Nassr player in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo says he gave his word to Al Nassr despite having many other offers around the world as the former Manchester United forward was officially unveiled by the Saudi Arabian club on Tuesday.

Ronaldo, whose two-year contract makes him the highest-paid footballer in the world, arrived in the Middle East on Monday and completed a medical ahead of his official presentation a day later.

The 37-year-old was greeted by a capacity crowd of 25,000 at a raucous Mrsool Park in Riyadh as excited fans enjoyed an impressive light show ahead of his unveiling.

Speaking at a press conference before walking out onto the pitch in front of his new home supporters, Ronaldo said: "I feel so proud to make this big decision in my life.

"In Europe, my work is done. I won everything and now this is a new challenge.

"I'm grateful Al Nassr have given me this opportunity, not only for the football but for the young generation and the female generation.

"For me, this is a challenge but I feel very happy and very proud.

"I had many opportunities in Europe, in Brazil, in Australia, in the US and even in Portugal many clubs tried to sign me, but I gave my word to this club.

"This is a good chance to grow many important points here with my knowledge and my experience."

He clearly doesn’t know which country he is in right now - he is obviously only interested in the $.

Iniesta went to Japan at the age of 34/35 and Xavi to Qatar at the age of 35/36, Beckham to USA, Pele to USA, nobody said a thing.

CR7 heads to Saudi, and the jealousy and hate is real.

My man CR7, the GO double T, is about to break more records, and this time, outside of Europe!

Alhumdulliah!

Karim Benzema on Cristiano : "I still remember the 2018 Champions League final, as it was during the blessed month of Ramadan. I sat and thought that it was a fateful match against Liverpool and I must be 100% ready, so I decided not to fast. while I was in the hotel, he knocked on the door of my room, I opened the door and I found Cristiano Ronaldo holding a plate of food and a bottle of water in his hand, and he told me this is your suhoor. Do not break your fast, I will take care of the match and you will take care of your fast. Cristiano was everyone's best friend in Madrid."

The GOTT legend!

Iniesta went to Japan at the age of 34/35 and Xavi to Qatar at the age of 35/36, Beckham to USA, Pele to USA, nobody said a thing.

CR7 heads to Saudi, and the jealousy and hate is real.

I don’t think Iniesta or Xavi or Beckham or Pele said the following only 2 months before going to Japan/Qatar/USA:

Piers Morgan: "If it was just about money, you'd be in Saudi Arabia earning this king's ransom, but that's not what motivates you. You want to keep at the top."

Ronaldo: "Exactly"

We can forgive & forget what he said in 2015-16 which was a long time back but we cannot forget what he said only 2 months ago. The Piers Morgan interview ended Ronaldo’s career. What a disaster it proved to be.

Messi wins the World Cup; Ronaldo cries to Piers Morgan & goes to Saudi. The most brutal & embarrassing ending to a sporting rivalry in history.

Sky Sports chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol reveals Cristiano Ronaldo's long-serving agent Jorge Mendes wasn't involved in the decision for him to sign for Al Nassr, and was opposed to the explosive interview he gave to Piers Morgan.

Cristiano Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez will be able to live together in Saudi Arabia, despite the country’s laws forbidding unmarried couples from doing so.

Ronaldo has never been married, which seemed likely to pose a problem for him and Rodriguez with Saudi laws strictly prohibiting ‘cohabitation without a marriage contract’.

However, Saudi lawyers have told Spanish international news agency EFE that authorities will ‘turn a blind eye’ to the superstar couple living together.

An anonymous lawyer told EFE: “Although the laws of the kingdom still prohibit cohabitation without a marriage contract, the authorities have recently started to turn a blind eye and no longer prosecute anyone.

“Although these laws are used when there is a problem or a crime.”

Little wonder Modiji and Saudi share a good relationship. They are good at bending the rules for their powerful friends :)

Cristiano Ronaldo's FIFA rating has hit its lowest level in 16 years.

As if an early World Cup exit and public fallout with Manchester United wasn't bad enough, the 37-year-old footballer's score in the popular video game has dropped to 88.

That's the lowest it's been since FIFA 07, when developer EA Sports put his number at 87.

Ronaldo had started the season in FIFA 23 as a 90-rated star, after a season which saw him net 18 Premier League goals for United.

But his stock has fallen somewhat since the current campaign began, as his second spell with the Old Trafford club reached an ignominious climax after his fallout with new manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo will immediately become Al Nassr's best player in FIFA 23, even with his slight downgrade.

It marks the first time in a decade that Ronaldo's FIFA rating has slipped below 90 - it stood at 89 in FIFA 11.

FIFA 23 is the final game in the series, with EA Sports working on its own series after announcing a dramatic split from football's governing body after almost 30 years.

Not sure why the hate for Ronaldo.

I think this is a great move for him and his family along with being a great move by the Saudi club and nation.

West is running out of money. Most of the PL clubs are in huge debts. The cash is in Saudi and they will attract more famous players in the next few years.

Reality.

I know it hurts Ronaldo haters that CR7 has consumed most of the footballing news cycle post WC, but this thread is not a CR7 v Messi thread.

Love him or loathe him, the media loves reporting on every move CR7. The power of being a GOTT.

Rumours are Pepe could be next to join Al-Nassr.

As always, CR7 sets the trend!

Yeah, the money is now in ME, and the woke West cannot stomach the fact that people, in this case, a footballer, does not share their woke concerns - hence the media hate towards CR7.

Yep, I had some idiot fan saying its 'dirty money' he is taking. Its money from natural resources while the money in the UK is hardly clean. Besides nobody says this when talking of De Bruyne for City or Trippier for Newcastle.

Agree, I think the west know what the future is and are merely upset by the change in the world.

They are bitter because they can’t join the party. I’ve never been a huge fan of Al Saud but I rather support the initiative in their nation then scribe to the hypocritical narrative here in the west. It wont be long before Saudi will be one of the top leagues in the world, they are already running half EPL.

Also, majority of the Zionist media have had it against CR7 since the day he made his stance on the Palestinian and Israeli conflict public.

For sure.

The Arabs in general have realised Sports and stars is a huge worldwide brand, it will always be watched and the money will keep rolling in , maybe not in the short term but defo in the long term.

The biggest boxing fights will take place in the Arab world soon. I think Fury v Uysk is wanted by 3 different Arab nations, the UK has been priced out bigtime. MMA will also grow but football being the biggest sport is their target esp after the best world cup ever in Qatar.

Genuinely couldn't care less. I'm still gloating over Messi's historic win and crowning. Rubbing it in CR5 fans faces.

As for the massive contract it means nothing. Not my money and Messi will most likely get a bigger contract when he goes into the retirement phase of his career. Probably ownership of a MLS club or another Saudi or Qatar club will pay him 200-300m.

We can’t compete with their numbers, they have a long term deal with WWE as well. They have the money to make sure the big fights happen, they were the closest to staging AJ/Fury to at one point but am sure the undisputed fight will happen there and after the WC in Qatar, it wont be long before the BBC is crying on national television over a WC being held in Saudi despite our foreign dealings in the ME.

2022 was a rough year for #2s everywhere.

Natural talent will always win out. No matter how hard you work God given talent with mental fortitude cannot be matched.

Akira Toriyama tried to warn you CR5 fans.

What a reception for CR7, you’d have thought he won the WC. His star power is insane, I think years from now this move will be recognised as being very shrewd

British media are going after Ronaldo because he copped out after his Piers interview. Plus it's really easy to hate the guy because he's so up himself and unlikeable. Literally said he didn't want to go to the Saudi league a few weeks before the WC and thought he could offer teams something, only to go back on his word a month later after realizing not a single European team wanted him.

Oh but you do, clearly.
Literally don't. It's just you Ronaldo fan boys trying to glorify his retirement, that too after the biggest crowning moment of the actual GOATs career which makes it all the more hilarious.

Enjoy retirement Pendu FC.

CR7 is so disliked, he has the highest number of IG followers than any other human being on the planet.

:)))
