Virat Kohli vs Junaid Khan on 18th June 2017 - Who will win?

Virat Kohli vs Junaid Khan on 18th June 2017. Who will win?

Its average Pakistani bowler vs ATG Indian batsman on paper.

But there's much more to this contest if you've witnessed the humiliation Junaid inflicted on Kohli on his own home soil in 2012.

Will Junaid certify Kohli as his bunny or will Kohli get his revenge on Sunday?

India has habbit making stars which shine just once and then fade away.
Be it Wahab, Sohail kohli, Big Nas and Junaid.
Since their aane do meet , kohli has only improved and junaid has regressed.

I am more interested in Kohli vs Amir, Junaid will be blunted by Dhawan.

Oh please none of these dream threads. Indian fans are sky high right now and feel their team will score 500-0 in 50 overs

Before getting Kohli's wicket, Junaid will first get Sharma out and then he will make Kohli his prey in the same over. In shaa Allah.

Kohli hoga apne ghar ka :rahat1

I have got kohli out in india so i will get him out for 0 in CT:bhatti

Irphan pathan jaise player pakistan ki gali mein mil jayenge.

I saw sachin shaking in legs while playing pakistani phast blowers :afridi1

Indians are afraid of playing Pakistan team :moyo

Kohli. 4 years is a long time and Junaid Khan isn't the player now as he was back then, alike with Kohli.

will be one of the flattest wicket, not those green he pitches he got in India. Still I dont fancy kholi making huge in the final. Remember that indian top order has yet to fail this tournament.

Junaid might not be the man of 2012 but he's much better than he has been the past few years. I'm inclined to believe he'll do some damage even on a flat pitch.

Have a feeling Junaid will be the Wahab of the previous game

Would drop him and play

3.1
Junaid Khan to Sharma, FOUR, paddles it away for four, risky shot but he knew fine leg was in the circle, Rohit gets his front foot well outside off and doesn't look to power the ball, good that he connected well with it, else there would have been plenty of carping
3.2
Junaid Khan to Sharma, SIX, whoah! this time Rohit gets six, he skips down the track and carves this one over point, moving away from the stumps to get the room to swing freely

This could very well happen before that given the speeds at which Junaid bowl these days. 128kph is not going to worry anyone. Only Aamir will be able to pose some worries and to some extent Hasan.

1.2
Junaid Khan to Sharma, no run, almost got the edge! Sharma sees this well outside off and looks to smash it over mid wicket running down the pitch but somehow misses it by less than an inch. The crowd suddenly jolts with energy.
1.3
Junaid Khan to Sharma, no run, Juanid bowls this a little shorter on off. Sharma is up to the challenge and leaves it well outside of off.
1.4
Junaid Khan to Sharma, no run, driven hard to cover. Khan and Sharma exchange a few glances and hello, a few words too.
1.5
Junaid Khan to Sharma, OUT! Well whatever was said the previous ball certainly has gotten both of them fired up. Juanid bowls this one at 141 kph and it pings Sharma on his toes. The umpire's finger goes up immediately and Pakistan couldn't have asked for a better start.

I don't see him bowl at that speed these days. He has become a super trundler.

Bro, he just bowled at 141 kph last game. :( But I am laughing cause super trundler sounds like a B-Grade comic book superhero name.

Okay i have seen few matches of him in reccent times. He barely crossed 130 kph. May be odd deliveries. I think he was a little quicker and nippier few years back.

I got money on Junaid continuing his dominance over GOAT

Amir is still your best bowler, reason he is getting less wickets is because all the batsmen are giving respect to his good bowling.

Yup. Aamir is the indirect wicket producer for them. Indians batting is like clock work. Take time upfront. Gradually pick up the pace in the middle and finish well. So you have to play all 50 overs well. Not just 25 over like Bangladesh did today.

Not around 140 kph bhai. More like 130-135 with the effort ball at 140 kph. I think a lot of people are confusing his slower ball with his average speed. He was bowling slower balls in his first spell against England too.

Total score

IND 32/10

Bro I think you have done your math wrong there.

Junaid Khan will be beaten blue come Sunday, he will do dua (pray) that the umpires call him during the match for chucking so he can be taken off the attack and the game, inshala

Flat track, no clouds, JK has nowhere to hide and go, and there is a hungry Kholi wanting to settle old scores, you can't say he wasn't warned.

Lots of chest thumpings, by both the sides ..... before the Match .... the usual ..... !!!

Junaid Khan vs Virat Kohli - The Battle Continues at The Oval

Junaid Khan has played against India 5 times

Junaid has bowled 18 deliveries to Kohli

Kohli has scored 2 runs against Junaid

Junaid has dismissed Kohli 3 times

Essentially, Kohli is 2/3 in 3 overs against Junaid

Essentially - if we were watching this match up on Sky Sports, the score would look something like this:

:junaid

Junaid seems to be finding his rhythm so far in the Champions Trophy Alhumdullilah, however - Kohli has also evolved into one of if not the best batsmen in the world.

Who do you think will come out on top on Sunday?

Junaid will be taken apart. Always had a feeling hes going to cost us a game at some point, seems like it might just be the final.

Junaid isnt as friendly as amir so kohli is in for a real test if hes in early. its going to be a proper dead wicket as per indian requirement though

Neither is it the same Kohli now since they last met, nor is it the same Junaid. He will be either smashed, or rendered ineffective against him. The only bowler I see having any chance of taking him out is Hassan Ali

All this is confirmation bias.

Because Junaid has done well againt Kohli before he will do so again.
Because Pakistan has bowled so well in the last three matches they will do so again.

But because Indian top order has batted so well in this tournament they are "due" a failure.

Give me a break.

Globe-go out there,keep them to 300

Only a fool would think that Jk would do well against Vk just because he got the better of him in 2012...The delusional bangle fans also used the same logic saying rubel will take out kohli and fizz would do same to rohit...
