What's new

Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir at The Hundred (Performance Watch)

I have really missed the Pakistani flavour in the hundred in the first season.

Imad and Shaheen should be first pick opening bowlers in my opinion. But Shaheen or Imad can be shuffled around to make room for him. But at the same time Wahab would have to be versatile. He can't hide from bowling first change, middle of the innings or at the backend. Plans can change drastically depending on the situation of the game, especially in this format.

I agree plans need to be changed according to the situation but I would stil like to se imad and shadab in the middle to strangle the opposition with the odd over from imad in the powerplay.

Yup. Both are essential to the combination. And infinitely better than the wildly inconsistent Usman Qadir.

Qadir doesn't offer much with the bat both imad and shadab can hit at the end.

Bat and ball. A couple of rippers don't make up for the rubbish he tends to bowl in nearly every over. I'm not sure how productive that kind of bowling is in a high-pressure World Cup situation.

Amir not picked once again by London Spirit.

Mohammad Amir's bowling stats at The Hundred

5 matches, 3 wickets.

Cricket is a moving game and cricketers have to evolve to stay head.
Unfortunately, our friend Amir has become stagnant and is not bringing anything new to the table. Others have worked him out.

If he takes wickets that's the most important t20s you will go for runs .plusz you need a constant runs and I don't think qasid has had that yet.

so how come Riaz has only played once?

AMir looked good at times but was just not good enough overall. It's been his story for about 2 years now.

Looks like Amir has very few well-wishers.

I wonder what roles he may be able to get after his career ends given how generally unpopular he is.

Most likely he will become another outspoken Youtube warrior like Shoaib Akhtar and that'll be it for him.
