The only complaint I have with Sarfraz as captain is that he is over the top expressive. Always yelling at young players over mistakes. Yet he stays quiet when the seniors drop dollies. Stays even more quiet when he himself drops dollies. Pathetic.

Other than that his captaincy is good. Good bowling changes and just the right amount of attacking.

Its him as a player I am really worried about. He is unfit and out of form. He doesn't even look the same player from a couple of years ago who was hitting sweep shots off of pacers.

Senior culture and the ensuing mediocrity is a by product of the establishment at hand and those in the past. Sarfraz is actually a very good captain. You can see it in the game.

But I agree with you regarding saying yes to team management. In this aspect he is bad.

Hehehe Sarfaraz is confused what to say. I am absolutely supportive of him backing Rumman Raees and other young bowlers like Shadab and Fahim who have also become are main batting lineup.

But if he wants to continue backing Hafeez and Shoaib Mallik than I would rather not watch this series or follow it. Sarafaraz is literally digging his own grave. The NZ series is over, its the next coming series he will be put under more hell by these senior politicians in the team. He took a call to keep Rumman but he decided not to drop the seniors to include Harris or Yamin, and they failed again in a conspiring manner and no youngster came on to try to rescue you, this is the major reason for the defeat/

Exactly, it is not about being villain, most would be happy if Hafeez and Malik re dropped and carrywater for the youngsters. The team management should do whats best for the team. They are screwed anyway if he feels senior might politically push youngsters against him still they wont be all out on 72.

Sarfaraz now needs to overhaul and bring our main batsmen in this series, which our Shadab Khan, Fahim and Hassan up the order with trying some left in the squad.
Chief selector is playing a really dirty role, the t20 series selections are beyond controversial. Arthur needs to engage with PCB to find some role for him and captain in the selections.

Sarfraz is a much better batsman than what he's showing currently.

The problem is our spectacularly abject top and middle order means Sarfraz has to come in with his "busy batting" desperately trying to move the score along after the guys above him have consumed a million dots. Then he gets out himself.

He needs to come in with plenty of time to bat, relax and build an innings - but he needs to muster the courage to drop the three seniors.
