Rizwan speaking after Pakistan's 11 run win the 1st T20I

"It would have been nicer and enjoyable for all if this was a one-sided victory but everyone needs to understand that conditions are different between South Africa and Zimbabwe"

"To be honest, the pitch was difficult to bat on as it was double paced and the bounce was spongey as well"

"Also we lost wickets frequently and could not build partnerships which is why we couldn't set up a big target"

"But we knew that even 160-170 is a good target to set based on conditions in Zimbabwe"

"Once Hafeez got out, in my mind the target came down to the 140-150 region which I thought would be a good one to set"

"I had faith in our bowlers and they restricted Zimbabwe to 138"

"The team has gelled well with each other which is helping us in batting, and idea was to continue until the end if we can"

"Zimbabwe bowlers know how to bowl in their home conditions but just like we hit 150 today our batsmen will now have a better idea of local conditions and score a bigger total in next game"

"We have put in place a rotation policy within our squad, with some senior players sitting it out and younger ones playing instead and they are delivering well"

"So our bowlers are bowling well in middle and death overs - in the series against South Africa we saw that the opposition won the powerplays but we came back in middle and death overs for which we are well known for; This is the reason we are getting success in the previous few series"

Haris Rauf should be a designated death bowler in my opinion. When he's bowling yorkers, he's good at containing runs.

We would not have reached 100 had Zimbabwe taken their catches.
