West Indies v Pakistan 2017 : Speed Watch Thread

Safe to say Pak bowlers will outbowl their opponents (speed) in this series?

In the T20I definitely.

Once the ODI series arrives the Pakistan bowlers are going to face some stiff competition in terms of pace in the form of Alzarri and Gabriel.

Hasan has been working up some good pace of late. Really should be bowling 140+ consistently if he were to maximize efficiency. He's got the fast twitch muscles to do so.

The quicker Hasan gets the more potent his multitude of slower balls become. He was consistently in the 140+ range in the last match.

Hasan Ali was bowling at some real pace. Seems quicker than when he started international cricket.

Wahab was quick as always.

Wahab bowled one at 152 Kph

Hassan Ali has been absolutely brilliant with his pace as well

I think Hasan Ali can eventually reach Wahabs pace later on in his career

Ite calm down. Pace is enough now. Just needs to maintain that speed over a longer period of time.

it seems that hasan ali is holding back
not confident enough to give it all he got

Wahab is bowling mighty quick if he indeed touch 152. Needs to have a better control on his line now

Azhar is doing good work with him. His action and run-up is a lot tighter now and it's showing in the lines. Given he's a slinger, they're never going to supremely accurate bowlers. You have to expect waywardness at times but they will always pick up wickets if they're attacking the stumps without fear and his captain has complete confidence in him.

Wahab was really good in the death overs, kept up his pace, beat the batsmen a few times completely with blistering consistent pace of high 140ks and hit 150+ a few times as well, top speed was 152

thats a problem

when he wants to bowl a yorker and give it all. He wont be able to execute well instead it will be a full toss etc

Nah, he has control over his action. Just needs to shorten that ridiculously long run-up. He's wasting energy and losing momentum towards the end.

I think the second bowl of last over was an attempted yorker but he bowled a low full stop

And thats true. He should shorten his run up.

Hasan Ali has really been turning it on in these 2 matches, he was already brilliant when he bowled mid to high 130s, imagine if he can consistently hit 141-145.

He's a fast twitch athlete. Potentially a 145+ bowler if he learns to maximize efficiency.

155 from wahab in second match and 151 today..... these windies are double the structure of pakistanis and despite bowling those trundler paces....:fizz

Having a big structure doesn't make you fast, it helps in being fit which leads to the bowlers to maintain their pace during long periods

Wahab Riaz has bowled pretty fast in this series, regularly clocking between 145-155 kph.

Wahab would win all the time when it comes to speed watches. Easily one of the fastest bowlers in the world and tier 2 category for one of the fastest of all time.
