First ODI West Indies vs South Africa.

At last 50 over game we have to watch.

South Africa v West Indies | 1st ODI | North Sound, Antigua | 22 May 2010

The 1st ODI between West Indies and South Africa will starting soon after rain held delay toss.

The pitch here at Sir Vivian Richards stadium favoured the bowlers in the two T20 games, so expect a low-scoring match today. West Indies fortunes tend to follow the Gayle in T20 but in the 50-over format Sarwan, Bravo and Chanderpaul should provide a sterner test for the South African bowlers.

South Africa trying diffrent combination in the Twenty20s and in the first ODI as well i dont think its gonna help quickly because the pitch tough for batting but bowlers will have a good series though! Tough luck for both teams.

The 1st ODI Line-ups for both teams:

West Indies: Chris Gayle(c), Andre Fletcher, Dwayne Bravo, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Narsingh Deonarine, Kieron Pollard, Denesh Ramdin(w), Darren Sammy, Nikita Miller, Jerome Taylor, Ravi Rampaul

South Africa: Graeme Smith(c), Hashim Amla, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers(w), Jean-Paul Duminy, David Miller, Johan Botha, Ryan McLaren, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, Lonwabo Tsotsobe

Miller played superbly in the last T20. Requires some guts to play like that in your debut game.

West Indies look like they're becoming a poorer and poorer side everyday.

South Africa will whitewash them.

Amla should be a certain in all three formats really. He's able to score at a fast pace, and is probably South Africa's most reliable opener at the moment. If he had been included in the T20 tournament, south Africa's fortunes may have been different.

Amla certainly in the form of his life. Long may it continue...

Wonderful innings today.

how did amla.. got out .. . bowled of a good ball or thrown away his wicket after scoring 100?

i hope WI wins this one cuz if SA win then they will win all other matches but it will get interesting if WI win then SA will come hard at them and hope we see good matches of 50 overs.
