Slow, low track devoid of any pace. Spinners paradise which is what most Caribbean pitches are like these days.

West Indies lost two practice matches to a Barbados Select XI consisting of fringe players and youngsters ! So I can understand why the safe bet would be on an Australia vs South Africa final.

However given how diabolical South Africa have been in spin-friendly conditions lately, wouldn't rule WI out yet.

Good to see IPL trundler killer Miller finally dropped. South Africa dont have enough depth in batting though with Morris at 7. Ideally they couldve completed 10 overs with Duminy and Behardien and replaced Phangiso with a batsman but my batting order for this game is

Sammy is a rubbish ODI player so this is great from WICB. If only WICB can make more sane decisions like this maybe West Indies cricket can become good again. Need to kick out rubbish like Sammy, Bravo, Pollard etc from ODIs. They should stick to T20s.

They show promise at U19 level but once they go through the domestic system - they stagnate like everyone else, partly because they play on garbage pitches like this one !

Only the usual suspects Bravo and Brathwaite have respectable records and they're genuine quality. But if you go through the other top scorers in this year's domestic 50 over competition - just look at the FC and LA records of the batsmen. Hardly anyone has an average above 30 let alone 40 !

Kyle Mayers - LA average of 21. Evin Lewis averages 25. Shane Dowrich averages 18. Assad Fudadin averages 26. Paul Wintz averages 16 ! These were their best performers last season !

Same we should have won the 1st game and in 3rd game bowdens error cost us. Also sarfaraz should have got us more runs at the end.

With the likes of Hasan Ali asghar Yamin and a new opener I'm sure we will do betterin LOI formats
