I've come to the conclusion I don't like watching Pakistan bat anymore![]()
46/3 in 25 overs, pathetic stuff...
so much for trying to win the game...we can't do that when we bat at RR of less than 2!!!
I hope we don't lose any wickets in the next session. Come on Misbah, I am backing you in this session.
Good come back after the loss of quick wickets. Azhar & Misbah lasted an hour to see it through to lunch. More of the same in the next session. Application & occupation. The runs will come naturally as the game progresses. West Indies session but since the rain interruption there have been signs of steadiness. Hopefully more to follow ala Rahul Dravid style batting.
Send a smiley of Misbah if you think he will score a century or the same with Azhar.

The current crop of youngsters like Asad, Azhar and possibly Umar Akmal are suffering out there. Pakistan's batting has been a disgrace, it's as if we're watching the same type of collapse and batting which we witnessed during the tour of England.
Pakistan are clearly struggling without a batting coach - such a shame, btw doesn anyone know when Skysports will be showing this live?

I like you but for the Love of cricket what come back?
These 2 were looking settled. Partnership of 22*. West Indies have bowled tightly but there have been some promising signs in this partnership.
Lunch, 1200 It's been West Indies' session. The pitch offered minimal assistance in terms of seam movement. There was no swing either, just a bit of bounce
Pakistans batting has been disaster .
Have you ever watched a test match before?

I think there should be an exception for Pakistan in test cricket they should be allowed 10 days for 1 test match and not 5!
Only then we might not will but MIGHT score 400+
Seriously we need to pick up the scoring rate because we are trailing by 0-1. WI would be quiet happy to draw this and take the series. When you want to win a test you need to score quickly to give your bowlers ample time to get 20 wickets of opposition. And also remember our bowling is not that strong nowadays.
Dude Seriously.
We are under 50/3. Unless the score is 150/3 or 200/3. No one in their right mind will call that a come back and that too after winning the toss and electing to bat.![]()
yes I have, infact been watching for 17 years and have seen the evolution of test cricket over the years...It doesn't take a genius to bat at a RR of 3+...if they actually batted with intent and not let WI get on top, we'd be seeing Azhar & Misbah put pressure on WI bowlers & fielders by milking the 1s and 2s and punish the bad balls...no one is asking to blast the ball out of the ground...if these standards of batting continue, good luck in becoming a top test side any time in the future!
there's something called, smart running b/w the wickets...something whichand
mastered in test cricket...
but only draw is on the agenda of misbah n waqar

Rawarah preeg da yaar der zyat mo bezaata ko Misbah chacha
You have seen Chanders & Sarwan bat? This is Test Cricket. You can afford to get bogged down & play out maidens.
You can frustrate the opposition through your resilience and determination to put a price on your wicket. We have not seen enough of it by Pakistan test sides over the years. Full of flashiness & stylishness who score at a good rate but lose their wickets in the process. It doesn't work both ways. I prefer this style.
Old fashioned cricket but the application & guts is worthy of appreciation. More of it please as Zaheer Abbas said in a recent PP interview.
Well it's hard to bat with intent when your top three have thrown there wickets away, remember how Asad Shafiq got out? dominating enough? Plus, you can't expect them to dominate the Windies bowling right away, they need to take time to adjust to the pitch and the bowling. Sammy is bowling beautifully. I would honestly prefer tuk tuk over out out.

Some people here would rather have a score line of 72/5 with plenty of strike rotation & nice ticking the scoreboard over rather than 46/3 with 2 premier batsmen at the crease. Typical Pakistani fans. Haven't got the patience with Test Cricket. Sad to see.![]()

you put pressure on the opposition by pinching smart 1s and 2s especially when you're in a hole and trying to get back in the game, that's how momentum is built not by tuk tuk for eternity...
Pakistan are lacking that specific test material experience and that extra class in the middle order. Pakistan are foolish enough to ignore Yousuf who has been brilliant on his county loan spell. Misbah was the only player to score a half century in the previous test game - it's just he needs more support from the other batsmen, especially the openers.
Pakistan's batting would make a HUGE improvement IF YK and Yousuf were in the side + hiring a batting coach.
If our batsman are unable to score at 3 rpo without getting out then God help us.
sorry but I want my team to win rather than bat like spineless wussies...we saw what good all the tuk tuk did for us last summer in England and in the 1st test at Guyana...we sure came out on top with flying colors!!! NOT!
Difference b/w Zaheer Abbas and these scrubs, Zaheer could up the ante anytime he wanted, but not these losers...

We didn't have enough tuk tuk in England last summer. It was all too flashy with ODI specialists in the test team i.e. Malik, Kamran, Farhat, Umar and the team got bowled out 3 times under 100. In the SA + NZ series new faces and a change of approach worked brilliantly. That is what they are continuing now..........
You shouldn't have a problem with it. The plan has been working.
Thats why we are trailing 0-1.
These people would rather see Misbah and Azhar play out the whole day and close the day with them 2 still at the crease 30no each in 325423513 deliveries!
But as long as they don't lose wickets. Who cares about runs right. Not like Pakistan need to win this test match is it!
If you dont have
If you dont have
If you dont/cant mix youth with experience....![]()
If you keep selecting a player who is not cut out for Test cricket....
If your last player to score a 150 is nowhere near the scene...
If your most talented player is batting at 6 when the disaster has already ocurred... :umarakmal
If your number 7 is the biggest bunny around...lman
If the Merry Go Round is in full flow....
Disaster will be round the corner....
Stop this BBC, a guy who thinks 46/3 is a come back says enough about anything else.
Thats why we are trailing 0-1.
won 1-0 in NZ
0-0 against SA
There u go........
before that they lost 7/9 tests
common sense please
if you dont have

its so simple but these blind misbah supporters cant realise this fact. we need to win not draw and the fear of loss will never let us win.

Comeback after the rain intervention where they have resisted right through. No wicket fell. Batsmen were looking good.

indeed.
Batting like the great Hanif!
Lol at all those that criticise Misbah
Saving ur teams sorry @ss again
He is once again trying to see off the new ball and people criticise him for tuk tuk
Bludy disgrace
Did you really see Azhar Ali bat?
He was jumping out of the crease to Sammy, and as much cricket I have seen I can tell you that is NOT the signs of a batsman playing comfortably. So, if Azhar Ali was looking good, I am very disappointed with your low standards.
