The only highlight for Trinidad in the Semi final but boy did Evin Lewis impress throughout the Champions Trophy and he was not fazed by the occasion and opposition!I expect big things of this guy in the limited overs and is one to watch as his career progresses! WI have got some great youngsters coming up as well including Sheldon Cotterill who is a left arm seamer capable of cranking it to 90 MPH and he greets his victims with a solute! There's lots of talent in the WI currently but these two are the best in batting and bowling! An honorable mention should go to Chadwick Walton,Delorn Johnson,Kevin McClean, Bonner and Raheem Cornwell!Watch out for these exciting players in a couple of years!

yes him and Dwayne smith both had fantastic tournaments, hope they get called up

If we are bad developing talent the Windies are worse. There is a sadly a trend in non white boards(PK,SL,BD ,ZIM.IND and Windies) to be corrupt and use the cash for personal agrandisement rather than to develop the game.

The WI are a pretty good test side now, theyre currently ranked number five in the world and if they drop Sammy and play a genuine pace bowler they can only up that ranking!

sammy is a very good player and if they drop him then WI will struggle

I think both WI and NZ are on the rise, and their worst years are behind them. 2-3 years back, it looked that these 2 teams are on perpetual decline but thats not the case anymore. WI-A team, which is currently playing against India-A in India, has surpassed all expectations. They won the ODI series, and are playing well in tests as well. Similarly for NZ, a lot of youngsters coming through and performing well - Rutherford, Guptill,Williamson, Boult all look good.

NZ, WI appears to be grooming a lot of youngsters. Bangladesh have done well to groom youngsters like Gazi, Nasir, Mominul.

None of the 3 countries have too much talent if you compare to Pakistan who are currently wasting talent.

On topic: I dont think WI will be a top side anymore unless they manage to replace the wall of WI: Chanderpaul. To be in the same level as Chanderpaul, you have got to work hard, and have a lot of patience. Currently, WI does not have a great FC schedule and their players play a bit too many T20s for my liking.

Exactly,
Its really good to see these teams are coming up with astonishing young talent.
I suppose NZ and WI can be next invincible in cricket. :najam

unlikely though. NZ, WI dont have population on their side, and as we all know that cricket is losing popularity in WI.

Fabian Allen is a name that's cropped up this season. Played 8 FC matches and is already averaging 54 with two hundreds and four fifties.

Been excellent for Jamaica in the current Professional Cricket League season batting at 6. Regarded as a good player of spin, with good footwork and hands.
