If I were to become the next PM of Pakistan, I would introduce a wide range of long term changes including:
- introduction of a government funded help debt scheme for tertiary education. It is called a Hecs Debt in Australia and basically it will allow people from impoverished backgrounds to be able to seek University education with the fees only applying when the individual earns above a certain threshold after completing their degree.
- increase press freedom and encourage media institutions to cover news without bias or fear.
- 5000 or any good alternative number of females to be awarded a scholarship to study Medicine/Nursing or allied health fields. Breast Cancer and female related health issues according to stats go undiagnosed in Pakistan and female citizens deserve to see a female doctor without fear.
- this one might sound controversial but how about changing the official name to "democratic republic of Pakistan" instead of "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" ? Might attract more tourism and western nations might get a good View of Pakistan being a progressive and democratic nation for all citizens.
