Being a hardcore non vegetarian (my entire family as well), I can barely imagine my life without meat. Simply impossible, I'll end up dying.

But another thing, as much as I love meat, I'd never be able to try meat of any type that I haven't eaten since childhood.

It would be fun to know the types of meat we all have tried. Let me name them on my part -

1. Chicken - Love it to death

2. Mutton - My personal favorite

3. Pigeon - Have tried it a lot of times, but not fond of it like chicken or mutton. My family likes pigeon meat like anything though.

3. Duck - Have tried it, but never liked it.

4. Beef - Have tried it twice out of curiosity, but will never have it again.

5. Pork - I love 'Pork Momos', but other than that I don't like plain pork.

6. Deer - I have tried it a number of times back in the early 90's (92, 93) when I was a child. It was illegal back then and it's illegal now. But my father was posted in Karbi Anglong back then. And the rules back then weren't as strict as they are now. Deer meat was available once in around 2 months back then when the hunters were able to do their job. I loved it, but my Mum and a couple of other people from my extended family didn't like it and claimed that an unpleasant smell emitted from the meat. I loved it though.

At the end of the day, I love chicken and mutton to death and can't live without it.

Some of my friends have tried the likes of dog, rabbit, rat and monkey meat as well. I can't even imagine trying them.

Your turn now, please list the types of meat you have tried in your lifetime.

Camel - Too salty

Deer - Good food

Pigeon - Very bony not a lot of meat

Sorry bro, but what's that. I've never heard of it before.

Batair is Quail, my father brought home a box of cute live ones once, they were our dinner the next day.

Chicken: cannot live without
Mutton/Lamb: smells disgusting. Don't like the taste either, never had it since
Squid: okay
Shrimp: okay
Beef: once. okay
Fish: tastes awesome but I just can't get the fact its fish. Not had it much. Fish-phobia so to speak

Mutton
Duck
Wild boar
Rabbit
Quail
Teetar
Fish
Lobster

Of all these I loved wild boar the most. But its not easily available so mutton is what I prefer most of the time.Sea food is okay for a change sometimes.I like teetar too.Wonder if anyone here has ever tasted it.

Mutton
Pork
Chicken

Have tried fish and Prawn not a fan ,and don't eat any of the above meat anymore anyway although i miss Mutton occasionally.

Another thing I'd like to confess, I've never, ever tried sea food yet. But would like to do so someday.

I think it is mean and insulting to say that the animal didnt taste good when it gave its life to be your dinner. Show some respect to the departed animal.

pretty sure there was already a thread on this.
But anyways:

Chicken
Mutton
Lamb
Camel
Deer
Rabbit
Duck
Turkey
Pigeon
quail

Know someone who used to hunt deer and wild boar for us. The strangest meat he brought was turtle meat.
