What was the most uplifting news in 2018?

To me the emergence of Imran Khan and his eventual election as PM was very uplifting.

In a year that saw the likes of Donald Trump become stronger, Imran's election was a great thing to remember from 2018.

What made you happy in 2018?

Politics: Imran Khan becoming PM was the biggest news for me. Even within a few weeks, I could see Pakistan is changing for the better.

Sport: Mo Salah top scorer in the PL.

personally a bad year but good to see Modi & BJP losing 3 states in December .
