I am not sure everyone recall the speesdter trio under Sarfraz that snatched the final from the Indian U19: Jamshed Ahmed, Anwar Ali, and Akhtar Ayub. They were fast, furious and unplayable that day, almost like a hurricane that blew away India for a mere 71 (they were actually 6-9 earlier on)

They were badly managed by PCB/domestic teams etc. after the win, Jamshed ended up quitting cricket due to lack of real chances (financial needs were not being met either) despite playing for PIA for a few years, Akhtar Ayub was in and out and bogged down by injury too...we all know what happened to Anwar Ali, the star that day with an unplayable booming inswinger at seriously fast pace for that U19 level.

He was Auqibbed (stolen from Waqar) i.e. the action tweaker ruined the guy into a sorry excuse of a medium pacer who can barely move the ball in more than an inch unlike when he used to literally swing/seam it in for miles (almost felt like it by Indian batters that day and commentators said the same too)

Now coming back to the question in the title: We have already seen a slew of Pak pacers that have come out from PSL: Afridi, Rauf, Dhanni, Hasnanin, Waseem Jr. etc. they were helped on by programs from various PSL franchises in a great way.

How could the path oif the three especially Jamshed and Akhtar Ayub have turned out if PSL was around at that time?

I am sure even those three must have pondered this after watching last few editions of PSL and all those fast bowlers whose careers have been fast tracked to the national level and all

PSL should've been launched a decade earlier, would've done wonders for Pakistan cricket.
