Salam,
Ive been searching for a bat for almost a week need to get one within the next two weeks so i can start indoor training am preparing for the new season and university trials and havent played cricket for a year and a half, in the past i have used my freinds cricket bats and this time round i am planning on buying a bat which will last me very long.
Having had a look around on the fourum i short listed the AS V12 and MB Malik LE
I previously have used a MB Malik Sher amin and i have to say the big shots came off really well but i think it was a bit heavy for me limiting my shots but then again that bat is for hard hitters. Am looking for a lighter bat this time round which doesnt limit my shots allows me to go for singles and doubles all around the wicket but also be perfect for lofted shots to, also the handle shouldnt be too thick.
My height is 5ft 10/11 weight about 78kg, which bat would you guys reconmmend? am open to any other suggestions, my budget is about £100-150, ive had a look on the boundary sport website which is my local cricket shop but to be honest the prices are very high, and the disadvantage of buying from the internet is not having a feel of the bat before i buy it, but which place is the most reliable? I think alot of the members on here have had good experiences with sialkotsports although the shipping costs may be high
Any advices much appreciated guys!!!! Jazakhallah
