Which edition has been the best one so far for the Pakistan Super League?

Reading about PSL 4 being the best but also have heard some conflicting points of views.

The revenue aspect is not known yet for 2019 PSL but how do each of the editions stack up against each other?

In terms of players, team performances etc

2017 and 2019 were the best IMO.

Although this year’s PSL got overshadowed by political issues earlier on - the passion and energy of our fans in the Pakistan leg of the tournmanent made up for it.

2017 was good due to several very close games including a one run victory by Quetta in the eliminators against Zalmi

PSL2 was the best
Quality of cricket was the best, with plenty of close contests

PSL3 the best season in terms of fielding, catching was unbelievable that year

PSL4 has been a mix bag, fielding was poor and some games were really poor and boring. However there were a few thrillers a long the way

2019. There were many matches in Pakistan and the quality of cricket was good, good balance between bat and ball and many exciting matches. What a superb tournament it was last year. I wasn't looking forward to it that much but this is without a doubt the PSL I have followed the most.

PSL 4 for me.

Nothing beats the buzz and excitement of a frenzied home crowd. It's the first time I've truly felt that PSL belongs in the big leagues.
