Which team are you all supporting now since Pakistan is out?

Im supporting Australia as they always play to win unlike the farce we have seen over the past week just so they can get in to top 4.

Will never support Bharat because of obvious reasons.

England are just bunch of whiners i.e botham. Are also to big headed so it will be nice to see them lose in the final.

NZ are just not good enough.

The moment im truly waiting for is when Kohli crys again in the field when his team will be getting spanked to a semi final exit by England :)
 
In world cups my team after Pakistan is always India, but I don't feel like supporting them since the toothless chase against England. I like Australia in tests very much, but in ODI they have won already too many times. England and New Zealand I have no emotional connection with them so no.

I am supporting no one this time sadly after Pakistan.

Well let's look at the Candidates:

Australia: It doesn't matter what happens this is just a given isn't it Australia in the final 4 anything less would shock the world. For some reason I end up always supporting them at the end event though they have already one a few tooooo many World Cups. Like I said before the World Cup this team is the one to watch out for not only because they play pressure situations so well but they have the most complete and balanced side in the tournament.

India: Good team but I'll be damned if I support them. The pitches we get at the end will decide weather or not they make it through. They have the two best spinners in the world so if they get spinning conditions against England in the SF expecting them to win. Not just because of their spinners but their batsman can actually handle a bit of turn and movement unlike the English sloggers. However if we get a flat phatta then this Indian team can not stop the English sloggers.

England: What to say, the tournament favorites barely made it to the finals if they had gotten another cricket pitch in one of their last two matches and not roads maybe they wouldn't have made it at all. However props to them for winning two crunch games. Really don't like them and their cocky attitude. But if they get flat pitches in the SF and F they may win. However Australia may be able to stop them even on a flat pitch. I mean look at Australia they got two explosive openers in Finch and Warner. Then they got solid hitters down the order in Carey and Mawell. So you never know however, I don't see England winning this World Cup.

New Zealand: Where do I even begin? It's such a shame that a team that currently on form right now is not even a top 4 team. They have shown that by getting run through by Pakistan, Australia, and England. I said it at the beginning that NZ are very lucky that they start off their campaign against some weak teams because that made them look like beasts. When in fact Pakistan is better in these conditions them. NZ is only a good team at home. If their match against India didn't get washed out they wouldn't even be sitting here. NZ aren't even a team that can surprise you like Pakistan which is why I am so upset. The conclusion of the NZ/Aus is already a given Aus will thrash NZ and that's the end of the story. No way I can support them. I really like Kane Williamson he is one of the most elegant stroke makers to watch but their simply not good enough!

In conclusion I will be supporting the team who I know will eventually lift the trophy for a 6th TIME! Australia.
 
Usually my number two team is always and still is South Africa. I have lost some interest after Steyn and AB's departures. (Even though Steyn hasn't retired yet) But for some reason I always support South Africa when they are not playing Pakistan. In Fact I use to get up and watch their matches just like Pakistan's matches when AB was playing.

Besides, cricket will be popular in India no matter who wins the WC. Cricket is dying in the Anglosphere (England, Australia and NZ), they need a WC victory to inspire a new generation of kids who follow cricket.
 
Australia. But to be honest I wouldn't be upset if England won the tournament as they play entertaining cricket. Also like Buttler and Bairstow.

I will support England only if Jos Buttler wins his team a match by playing a winning knock.
Love his innovative-ness with the bat.
 
Australia.

NZ is a garbage team.

The whole New England spiel is nauseating. Plus, the poms have a weird sense of arrogance without having achieved much.

India is out of the question.

I shudder when I think of an England win. We'll have to hear them tell the world how much better they are than everyone else for years to come :facepalm:

I will be supporting Australia. Deserving champions due to their sheer will power
 
If not India, I will wholeheartedly support the convicts. Come a global tournament, each and every Australian player becomes a matchwinner. Its in their genes.

England and NZ does not deserve this cup.
 
Being a British Pakistani, of course I am supporting England now that Pak are out
