Pakistan did not lose a series in Pakistan for 15 years until the 1995 SL tour of Pakistan. Pakistan have not lost a series in the UAE in 15 years(defeat to OZ in 2002) Can SL do it?

Pakistan doesn't have many tests in future. It will be nice to see BD and Pakistan playing in UAE.

It did, like you said winning and losing is part of game,you did lost to Lanka albeit chasing 136 nobody can't deny that either and by the way just like It was a relaid pitch as u mentioned earlier, it took an ongoing tiff going between captain and coach where the whole team was busy calming things down which offcourse created lot of tension before that CT17 final

Still a margin of 180 runs in a final is huge! What ever the excuse may be.
Yes Pak lost and its a fact but it wasnt a final of a major tournament.
Even test championship hasnt started so its not like all is lost.

Won't - PAK will win the 2nd Test by innings or at least by 100+ margin - you can mark this post. That Dubai wicket is much faster than this pig sh!t (tells everything about Abu Dhabi) & it has got a bit carry, though I still smell bad from rotten UAE wickets even through internet. If they bat first, on similar wicket at Abu Dhabi, actually Nabi & Rashid will trouble PAK team.
If you look at the history - every non Asian team has done well against PAK in later half of the series in UAE - that's acclimatization of the dead slow bore feast and had those series won/drawn by Misbah's team been 4/5 Test series, you would have seen the fun.
Only Asian side that PAK has played in UAE is SRL - never lost 1st Test in UAE, actually has won 2 now - that's better planning & execution of a given condition; the sides familier with similar conditions will out smart PCB's team in 1st Test almost always - and I can tell you to wait even for Nepal to get Test status to check this. But, as a team SRL is far inferior - so they couldn't beat PAK in a series once the "home side" got acclimatized with the condition
I don't know who, but someone should lose his job to go with that attack here as host, when tourists went with 5 bowlers & 3 specialist spinners - something exactly what I wrote 3 days before the toss from Toronto, that Bilal should play here over 2 spinners & Wahab should play as one of 2 pacers.
It's good fortune for PCB that India doesn't play them in UAE & bad fortune for team PAK that they don't play in India either. And, it's great for us, Test fanatics that 3/9 happened & PCB is relieved of their burden from hosting Test match - at least we can see some Test drama. It would have been even worse experience than 200/3 in a full day & 5 out of 6 Tests confirmed to end in draw by 3rd lunch.

Our record in UAE is one of the most overrated things in cricket. It is called things like 'fortress' because we have not lost a series but we lose so many tests and hardly win any series.
2013 vs SA : 1-1. Would have lost 2-1 if there was another test as that SA team was brilliant.
2014 v SL : 1-1
2014 vs NZ ( poor team in subcontinental conditions) : 1-1
2016: Won 2-1 against a very poor WI team. Embarrassing that we lost one test and even came close to losing first test also.
2017 v SL : 0-1 down.
Only teams we have dominated at home are England and Australia. It is such a mediocre record compared to teams like India and Australia who have lost 1-2 series but have otherwise totally crushed opponents.

I wasnt flaunting the CT 17 victory rather my focus was on the difference between importance of matches which you were comparing.
