Who should be Pakistan's openers for T20Is?

OK this is a multiple options poll... Choose two, or even three of the options as you probably need three openers in a squad.

If you choose 'other' then write a comment about who exactly that may be...

Fakhar and Babar, with Talat at #3.

However, for now, it should continue to be Amin and Fakhar with Babar at #3. Can't kick Amin out after that knock, and need to make sure that Shehzad is booted for good. Talat should be a bench option for now.

Amin should be backup opener for ODIs for sure, while Sahibzada develops.

Ideally Fakhar and Shehzad with Amin as backup option (he's more suited to ODIs as apparent from his innings) but since Amin has performed well enough, its impossible to not see him open with Fakhar in next T20 series, however if he fails in a string of matches, a better sense should prevail.

Fakhar Zaman and Sahibzada Farhan seem like the best choices atm
Sarfraz could also open with Fakhar or Babar.
Surprised Mukhtar Ahmed wasn’t considered after a good start as opener.

Fakhar and Babar should open. Babar is a fluid rotater of the strike in T20 and can hit big when the ball is in his striking zone. He also opens in the PSL.

Umer Amin is ok for the time being, but eventually I'd like for Sahibzada to open with Fakhar. The two have opened before in Pakistan cup. Hopefully Farhan can be recruited into the team after some strong PSL performances. Heck, if Sharjeel's verdict manages to get overturned (since PCB doesn't have much evidence against him), I'd love for him to come back & open with Fakhar. There's plenty of time, at least 3 years until the next WT20, but we should start with establishing the foundations and necessary changes now.

On that note, whether its Umar Amin, Sahibzada Farhan, or Sharjeel Khan, or Imam ul Haq in ODI's, anyone is better than Mr. Selfish Selfie boy. Shehzad needs to get kicked out of the team, and fast.

Not a big fan of Farhan.. He backfoot game is pretty good but front foot game needs a lot of work..

Talat, Zeeshan, Rafay and Nauman have a higher ceiling imv.

Preferably, you want two attacking batsmen at the top.

Fakhar and Sharjeel would have been ideal but that won't happen. For now it's fine to go with the "anyone but Shahzad" motto.

I voted for Zaman, Amin, Shehzad. Those 3 should be in the next squad. Zaman and Amin have done fine and Shehzad hasn't been bad in T20s recently and that's coming from someone who really doesn't like him.
