Three of the four dead men were suspects in the ambush of the cricket team in Lahore in March 2009. That commando-style ambush, which a former interior minister called “a total security lapse,” was a major embarrassment for Pakistan. It occurred after several other foreign teams had refused to play in the country, citing poor security.

At least a dozen militants, armed with assault rifles, grenades and antitank missiles, were waiting at a busy traffic circle when the bus carrying the Sri Lankan cricketers and their police escorts passed. Six police officers and two bystanders were killed, and six cricketers and an assistant coach were wounded. The militants escaped in motorized rickshaws.

The four men killed on Saturday were identified as Naik Muhammad, Abdul Wahab, Adnan Arshad and Ateequr Rehman. Officials said Mr. Muhammad, Mr. Wahab and Mr. Arshad had been involved in the attack on the Sri Lankans.

I had read somewhere that Raw had helped the people responsible with finances and planning of the attack. Shockingly petty of our neighbors to engage in destabilization of its neighbors.

Did you read that link I posted ? It clearly names the people and actors responsible for it with no mention of RAW. Are you saying that RAW paid monies to Lashkar group ?

I read the link. Raw has been involved in supporting many anti state groups in Pakistan, Balochistan separatist groups and yes Raw is fully capable of providing funding to the Lashkar group for its own motives.

Can you provide some reliable sources to prove that RAW funded Lashkar ? Not even your own Govt accuses India for that incident.

Do you also believe the earth is flat and we’d sail off the edge? Also that gravity is a myth and it’s a government conspiracy? Pakistan government does not recognise RAW as being involved yet people like you do. Accept it. The Punjab government was weak and the security delegation was poor. They are as much to blame as the terrorists who committed the actions.

Governor rule in punjab Feb 25 - Mar 30. Lahore attack was on Mar 03. So it was PPP governor's rule in (Salman Taseer) at that time.

It's time to look at the reality in a sober manner.

Inside alqaeda by the journalist Saleem Shahzad is a good read on the topic for those who quickly dismiss terrorism in Pakistan as mainly the work of foreign agencies. Saleem Shahzad held interviews with many of the militants hiding in Waziristan including the once hero of Pakistan Army Ilyas Kashmiri. Upon the release of his book he went missing and later his dead body was found with sign of tortures.

Some random news site claiming RAW being responsible without any shred of evidence or investigation does not amount to fact. This way I can produce 10 times more articles. None better than OBL found in Pakistan and Dawood living freely in Pakistan both of which are indisputable facts.
