Good Day,

There are many people here with good football knowledge, far better than me, and one thing I think about a lot is who was the best striker form the 2010s - early 2020s era, and where do the others rank?

To make things clear, I will only include My Top 10 Strikers who played in the majority years of the 2010s decade and are either still playing in the 2020s decade, or have recently just retired, like in the last 2 - 3 years (approx). Which is why I wont be counting the likes of Drogba, Van Persie (I hope you get the point).

And no Messi, no Ronaldo, so that the topic is more specialised.

Now, my top 11 for (in no particular order) this era would be:

- Harry Kane
- Edison Cavani
- Luis Suarez
- Robert Lewandowski
- Sergio Aguero
- Karim Benzema
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
- Ciro Immobile?
- Mario Mandzukic?
- Diego Costa?
- Would Sadio Mane count as a Number 9?

I wot give an analysis on all 11 strikers.

But In my opinion, Luis Suarez is ranked the best, mainly because:

- Had some great seasons at Liverpool, mainly 2013-2014
- Won the La Liga Golden Boot Ahead of Messi and Ronaldo! (In 2016)
- Won Champions League
- Won La Liga with Barcelona (multiple times) but also with Atletico Madrid
- Won Copa America with Uruguay

My second placed striker would be Lewandowski, who has many insane goal records and goal tallies, but I rank Suarez above him, as ever since 2016 season (approx.), Bundesliga just isn't the same competition and toughness as La Liga, Premier League.

My Third Placed Striker would be Aguero and then fourth would be Harry Kane.

Let me know if you think there should be some Strikers removed and others added in that list of 11.

It is hard for me to choose just one so I am sharing my top 3:
  • Edison Cavani
  • Robert Lewandowski
  • Karim Benzema

No one comes close to prime Luis Suarez. He was at a different level to Kane, Aguero, Lewandowski, Benzema and Zlatan.

Along with Neymar, he was the closest thing to Messi and Ronaldo in his pomp. Wenger’s failure to sign him in 2013 should be the biggest regret of his career. He would have won at least one more PL title between 2014 and 2018 had he signed him.
