Babar for all the criticism remains the front runner in my opinion - only he has the ability to stand up to the bowlers on Indian pitches. The next best will be Iftikhar Ahmed as he can smash spin all over the ground. Who will be on the top for you?

I’m betting on Fakhar Zaman.

To score two 150+ centuries and end up with close to 600 runs

I think Rizwan might be the most consistent batsman for Pakistan here.. Also he players better under pressure than Babar

Most likely Babar and Rizwan as they'll play all the group games. Fakhar and Imam will be rotated

I selected Babar, but have a feeling Rizwan might not be far behind

Imam Ul Haq. Fakhar is barely scoring these days and Babar doesn’t look to be in the best of form.

Babar will score bigger this WC than he did last time.

imam, will play consistent run a ball knocks against most teams, will not be enough to win but he'll be there or there abouts.

Don't be surprised if it ends up being Saud Shakeel.

Looks in good form, confident and suited to Indian conditions.

That's why I've picked him as my choice.

Mohammad Rizwan's touch of class. He notched up a brilliant ton against Sri Lanka in the ongoing World Cup clash. He always performs under pressure. I think he will be top run scorer for Pakistan at ICC word cup 2023

Rizwan for sure now. Gritty, classy batting.
He is a good pick but Babar should score heavy runs in this World Cup at some point. Also, don't count out form Abdullah who looked really good yesterday against Sri Lanka.

Looks like Rizwan is going to take this.

I hope it is Big Bobby B

Rizwan have the potential to finish as the leading run scorers by the end of the World Cup.

Skipper having a poor World Cup so far:

Innings 4
Runs 83
Balls faced 105
Average 20.75
Strike-rate 79.04

Rizwan is in the lead by a fair margin, love him or hate him, he has been dependable this WC

He has been scoring runs consistently for Pakistan and is probably the most effective batsman for Pakistan in the last couple of years in white ball cricket.

At the start of the tournament, my pick was Babar Azam but he didn't have the best of tournaments. I think Abdullah has a great chance to be the highest run-scorer for Pakistan who's currently at the second place with 336 runs behind Mohammad Rizwan who has scored 359 runs so far.

It was all about making Rizwan look good and Sarfaraz look bad

Guess what, Rizwan looks good…but Pakistan looks terrible

Rizwan's consistency is something else. The man tops every list imaginable.

Otherwise Babar having such a horrid tournament yet still coming in at 3 on this list is pretty awful.

Fingers will be pointed at our captain for having underperformed, but nobody else was able to step up to the plate either.
