I voted France. I think they are a bit more ruthless, Belgium were a bit lucky to get through against Brazil in my opinion, a lot of things went their way.

i think france, belgium have so many stars but there isnt an understanding between them and lack oragnisation, when you look at there back 3 it has two of the best defenders in the world but they have been poor.

It's hardly a foregone conclusion, Belgium are also a very strong side. They have the players to win any game as they showed yesterday.

If Pogba can match/neutralize KDB at midfield, France will be easy winners.

Belgium started 3-4-3 against Brazil (433 on papers, but Meunièr played more of a right wing), but against France they’ll miss Meunier. Don’t think their aging defense would stand the pace of France. Also, Lukaku ran riot in first hour against lightweight Brazil CBs, he’ll be matched size for size by Umtiti. Eventually, it comes to one guy - Hazard has to play his game of life to win it for Belgium.

3-1 France for me; but I won’t mind losing this time - Soccer needs new world champs and only 2 former winners are left. Belgium V Croatia/Sweden is more than welcome. Russia is too ordinary to be in WC final, but even they can make it on home tarf.

France will start as the favourites but Belgium pulling of an upset wouldn't shock me, beyond how strong they are overall there seems to be more of an edge among their players. France have been coasting on their excellent skill but will they be able to dig deep if taken into very deep waters by Belgium ?

Belgium have more attacking threat but France have defended really well so far and then they are sharp accurate and deadly in counter attacks specially due to Pogba and Mbappe's speed.

All this aside this has been a fantastic world cup. This is the quality and level of competition between most teams you need to expand interest in any sport, saying this as someone who recently picked up the sport.

Not like cricket where Aaron Finch picks up double tons against the poor ******** from Scotland....

Belgium for me! They have the best individual players left in the tournament and they seem to be on form. Lakaku, Hazard and De Bruyne are a nightmare for defenders. Kompany in defence keeping things tight and Fellaini is a threat from set pieces. The likes of Junazaj have the potential to be great subs. Even when behind Belgium have the talent to roar back. Not sure France has this ability.
