We have not developed any good genuine spinner in last 5 years or so. After yasir there is no one who could fill his shoes. Nauman is ok but he is not that effective.

Openers:
Abdullah Shafique
Sahibzada Farhan (he has earned the right even if he doesn't appear to be international material)

(unfortunately Imam will definitely be there in the actual squad)

Middle Order:
Shan Masood (if only there was something like non-playing captain in cricket)
Omair Bin Yousuf (Omair can also play as an opener. He appears to have the temperament for the big stage)
Kamran Ghulam
Saud Shakeel
Agha Salman

Allrounders:
Aamir Jamal
Mubasir (although his game has regressed appreciably he still deserves a chance. I'm surprised that a talented youngster like Arafat Minhas is yet to play FC. Mind boggling given the state of our talent pool and even more mind boggling if its a personal choice)

Keepers:
Haseeb (Again unfortunately for the team this spot will probably be taken by Sarafraz)

Pacers:
Khurram Shehzad
Mohammad Ali
Mir Hamza
Naseem Shah

Spinners:
Abrar
Noman (nothing reflects the woeful state of the game in the country better than our spin stocks. Mehran has shown promise but not in FC. Safi Abdullah has done relatively well but don't think he will trouble international bats. Sajid is mediocre. Could play any of them but I really don't think any of them would be able to make an impact)

I do foresee Hasan Ali, Imam, Safaraz and maybe even Faheem all being a part of the eventual squad.

Babar and Rizwan cannot be allowed to play. Sorry stat-padding time against weaker opposition has expired. We should not allow these two the opportunity to get any easy runs and try and pretend everything is rosy. These two need to take a hike for a while.
