WOMAN in a village....

HUSBAND goes on a business trip....after some unspecified length of time she crosses a bridge into a neighbouring village....there she meets a LOVER....After an unspecified amount of time she gets an email from her husband, he's coming home....

She needs to cross the bridge back to her village but when she gets there there's a SOLDIER....He says if you cross this bridge I'll shoot you...She goes down to the riverbank and asks a BOATMAN to take her across....He says ok but it's a hefty sum....

Too hefty...she goes back to her lover and asks for the cash...he says NO. so she tries to walk across the bridge and the soldier shoots her dead!

Depends, if the soldier is in the British or US Army then obviously the woman must have attacked him leaving him with no choice but to shoot. Give him the Purple Cross!

On a serious note.

Söldier - blindly followed orders and shot an innocent woman due to it. Gave a warning but should have used common sense or just arrested her.

Lover/Woman - If the lover offered her to stay the night at his place then he comes third, if he didnt then second. Reason being that the woman obviously created this mess, but doesnt deserve to die for it or be blamed for her death unless she refused the lovers offer of staying the night and tried crossing the bridge anyway, in which case she knew the risks and decided to continue deceiving her husband rather than face the truth. Maybe the lover didnt have the cash or didnt know of the soldier. Cant really blame him too badly unless he just told her to get lost, in which case he takes second.

Boatman - irrelevant to him why she wanted to cross, he was doing something illegal so suppose has to look out for his own interests. Not his fault the woman was a cheater.

Husband - Unless his surname is Weinstein he's gotten badly done in here, wife dead and exposed as a cheater. Poor bloke.
