Why aren't these players getting playing time in the Pakistan Super League?

Why these players are not getting playing time in PSL when they could be in Pakistan's WT20 squad? Usman Qadir has been in Pakistan T20 squad for a while now and Imam is the most mind boggling out of them all because he was really good last season. That's why I say that PSL needs transfer window so these players could play for other teams like LQ or get another team from next season so they don't get neglected.

Look at Imam's stats from last season. He was PZ's best player. Him and Umar can easily fit into LQ's team. I think next season LQ should trade Zaman with Imam from Zalmi.

As I said, Rizwan is rated only by PCB and some die hard fans here on PP

That was in the UAE. He is ok on tracks where you can grind a score of 150 and defend it, or chase a bit. This is Pakistan, 180 is a must on these tracks. Look at the monsters that are being sent up by each franchise and the way they are striking at 170+

This is not Imam’s playground.

He scored most of his runs in Pakistan though. He is a much better option for LQ than that expressionless tulla Zaman. Umar Amin could provide stability to their middle order as well and so do Rizwan. Actually of the 4 players I have mentioned could and should have been selected by LQ.

All the above: TERRIBLE T20 cricketers. They shouldn't have been in the squads to begin with. You're complaining about them not playing.

Only Umar Amin is a proper classy touch player, very good timing. Babar-Azam like in technique and timing. Sadly, he hasn't been consistent, chances have been very consistent for him too and he couldn't cash in on those.

P.S. Seems like yet another thread where folks throw a tantrum over why their favorites are not playing.

I had such high hopes from Saif Badar but T20 is such a cruel format and I don't think he will have the opportunity to shine.

Also Qalandars need to ditch their PDP and start picking emerging players from the PCB pool. They are trying to make Jaahid Ali into a keeper instead of taking a punt on Muhammad Haris from U19.

NCA is underrated in some aspects. Players like Naseem, Hasnain, Shaheen have benefitted immensely from it. The U19 products are physically stronger as compared to random guys from the street who just happen to play cricket for fun. They may have picked Haris Rauf but other than that the PDP program of Qalandars has yielded nothing.

Would have loved to see Muhammad Haris or an Abbas Afridi to get a go in this year's PSL but somehow we are seeing Laadi and pata nai kon kon say nobodies who might disappear next season like that ambidexterous Yasir Jaan or whatever his name was.

When it gets to Zalmi, I sincerely hope that Banton/Haider are not benched for the stability that Imam/Umer may bring to the team.

I dont understand the wisdom behind ignoring Saif Badar and Zafar Gohar while playing the legendary Faheem Ashraf. The guy is one sided slogger and simply runs in and throws the ball, he has no freaking idea about cricket.

its not about putting forward your favourite players, its about chopping off the deadwood. Why do teams continue to persist with tried and tested failures like Faheem Ashraf, Asif Ali or Bilawal? they may have their odd game but overall they are midiocre and have little or no hope for national selection. Why dont they give chance to someone who is more hungry and can be a potential for national selection too?

Rizwan is the only person out of that list who should be playing. Imam, Amin, Qarid are either mediocre or not T20 players. Sensible selections for them to be outside the playing 11
