Babar, Shadab, Nawaz, Shaheen. Granted the top order failed and Shaheen bowled buffet balls, but why are these guys still kicking about. I stepped away from Pak cricket after debacle of last WC so wasn't aware they would all be abck for this edition.

But even after failure of top order, these guys were never going to do anything. Why have we not got rid and giving chance to others? Shadab is one of the worst players around and Nawaz is such a mental midget. less said about Shaheen the better.

Think about why Fakhar is one who goes on bench . Shadab Shaheen Babar won’t . Why?

Why Mirza had to make way for senior Shaheen .

Why Muqeem was kicked out for Shadab .

What changed in one series that you kicked out Hassan Nawaz after hyping him so much just to accomdate Babar ?

Depends on players mentality. If they are angry and want to prove a point. They will reach super 8. Otherwise if they are brushing this lose aside or scapegoating players then they might lose vs Namibia as well.

Babar and Shaheen should be dropped, they haven’t performed in a while now.

Shadab and Nawaz have been decent for us, we can’t drop performing players and end up with newbies everywhere.

Babar does not make it to any T20 team, this much we should realize now.

We roped in a young Fakhar Zaman and the likes of Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan were hungry, young, determined to perform. Pakistan is the only country which plays the same core for 10 years. India has a more ruthless selection culture, you don't perform in one series, you make way for another on the bench and in their domestic system. The players dropped are put under pressure and strain to upskill if they wish to make a comeback i.e. Ishan Kishan for example.

It is not about ruthlessness. It’s about being professional. If a player is repeatedly failing, why should they be selected? Especially, if the player isn’t doing anything meaningful to improve?

Every professional team gets this. Heck, high school teams in the US get this. Pakistan is a different society and culture.

I saw Namibia play today. They look the weakest team in the pool. Don't think that Pak will lose to them despite the demoralizing defeat.

England are hard to beat for us in T20 format. Kiwis can be beaten on the day and SL are very much at the same level as us. I see another clash with India on the horizon (30% probability)

Losers always work in a mafia. Have said it many times that in a country like Pakistan, PCB and it's ICC easy money is a lottery for mafia-clad personalities.

No one knows how Babar, Shadab and Shaheen made it back to the team after being dropped for poor performance.

Lots of issues with team composition right now.

Mirza shouldn't be sitting out, way too many spin all-rounders, and a general lack of specialist batting. At least one spin all-rounder has to be dropped (Shadab/Nawaz) for a specialist batsman (Fakhar/Nafay) and Shaheen needs to sit for Mirza.

They're acting like they have a couple of peak Shahid Afridis and can't drop them.

Have you ever seen a team play 4 spin bowling all rounders and a medium pace all rounder in the same line up?

What seems glaringly obvious to us, seems to be something that escaped Hesson.

If the plan was to bowl Agha today, then simply they should have dropped Nawaz ( or even Faheem).

There are some players who probably shouldn't be there. But as an outsider, it's amazing to see how little Pakistani fans pull up the PCB for how incompetent they've been, for their numerous embarrassing moments and their ego-driven decisions that have hurt Pakistan cricket.

As someone who has endured 2+ terms of Modi and his propaganda machinery, maybe it's easier to notice how much the PCB relies on PR and spinning sentiment and emotions to hide their mistakes and mishaps.
