As the title goes what is it with the weak mentality of our team why is it soon as the opposition score close to 300 or more chips go down captain drops his shoulders and they give up it's been happening for many years now why isn't the management sorting this issue out they act as if it's normal

When you dont have temperament, you look for shortcuts, instead of determined efforts for the cause. That's the story I have seen with my work life & student life in Pakistan, so far. And these guys are from us. Our literacy rate, ability to grasp things, handle pressure, unprofessionalism and lack of passion ensure that we don't learn from our mistakes. We don't analyze critically, but rather emotionally.

And that's why we are in this situation, after every world cup.

I understand your point as u are from pakistan but me being a British Pakistani who loves pakistan cricket as many do here in the uk one thing we a don't get is why this team does not show any fight its shocking to see it's as they get bullied by the other major playing nations as u would get in school play yard why aren't they standing up showing and meeting fire with fire

1. Inexperience: Our team is very inexperienced compared to other teams. Our opening pair started their international career in 2017. India's opening pair have been their since 2010-2011?.
2. Sarfraz Ahmad: Although i saw some signs of temperament when he was batting, he looks nervous and depressed( i even made a thread about it). Sarfraz may not be ideal captain but he's the best we have. We can only hope he does well.

I don't think you can blame Pakistan too much since our team is the youngest and therefore the most inexperienced team.

Unfortunately most of the people in team management have already accepted their professional fate and even if they would have tried they dont have the ability to transfer any useful information as we have seen throughout Mickey and Co's tenure. CT 17 was an outlier, performances have been poor under this team management throughout and having least interested players like Malik who jumped over the merit into this WC squad doesnt help either.

If somehow PCB's management can take some decent calls with CS, Captain and coaching staff, you will see a better Pak team in future.

I agree some of your points guys but saying this team is very inexperienced with the likes of hafeez malik wahab amir sarfraz in the team is shocking thing to say I question the management for all this because some of the shots played by our top order batsman u don't even see in school cricket it's not just today it's been happening for quite few years yet these same players keep getting retained no one questioning why they are playing hacks when there no need to they just acting as if it's natural thing to do if we lose a match so be it u will never see that in an Indian team or Australian or English or the rest it's about time these batsmen get a hammering from the team management it's the only way it will stop

Asif Ali and shoaib Malik evidently need psychologists on tour and maybe hasan ali too

Sarfraz needs to toughen up and drop Malik and Asif and bring in Haris and Imad

Theres a definite mental issue The batsmen now for a number of years give their wkts away to soft silly dismissals just when the game is in balance or within reach

Many a times ive seen them folding softly and meekly for no apparent reason and losing games they shouldve won

Take hafeez today with pakistan losing the key wkt of imam decides to hit a full toss down deep mid wkts throat just when he was needed to stay in for a while

Pakistans have huge temperament issues in crossing over the line

Is it a confidence issue or do they just have too many mentally weak charcters in the team

The fielding is so frustrating. Forget the dropped catches, even our ground fielding is atrocious.

I honestly think Shadab makes a huge difference. Obviously with him in backward point, the others can be in more suitable fielding positions. But I think his enthusiasm in the filed also runs off on the others.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the one match where we fielded somewhat decently in the last month was the one game he played in.

I wouldn't play Malik or Asif in the next game. I hold them both responsible for this loss.
