The Prime Minister (PM) House last week received six Mercedes S600 Maybachs valued at Rs180 million each, as per Pak Wheels.

The ultra-luxury vehicles are reportedly armoured and bomb proof.

The Maybach features ultra levels of comfort and is highly spacious.

Moreover, it offers a longer wheelbase than the Mercedes S600.

The Maybach also boasts a four-litre V12 bi-turbo engine.

The ultra-luxury vehicle also features ‘Magic Body Control’ and adjusts suspension according to the road.

It also offers reclining seats, massage functions, infotainment features, temperature-controlled refreshment box, folding tables and real-wood fixtures.

On the other hand, a BMW M760 was also delivered to the PM’s residence.

Furthermore, the president and the PM reportedly use similar models which had earlier been purchased in 2016.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif before this purchase had reportedly obtained two BMW 760Li Sedans.

The Sedans feature BR9 ballistic protection and the purchase had been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

A fleet of similar vehicles is also provided to the Foreign Office to serve VIPs and guests of the state.

Moreover, Senate chairman and National Assembly speaker are also provided with armoured vehicles along with jamming devices and police protocol.

These Mercedes were reportedly ordered for the 19th SAARC summit, which was originally scheduled to be held in Islamabad in 2016 but was postponed due to growing tensions in the region.

Hope Imran Khan govt puts an end to this nonsense.

I dont mind. He is the pm after all

When you look at how army officials are able to buy Vigos and expensive cars without paying any tax on them. Without taxes luxury cars become very cheap.

Why should some army official get to move around in non custom paid vehicle while the pm cant have his luxury vehicle.

Imran Khan has decided to auction these ultra luxury, but essentially extravagantly purchased cars of the PM house, and use the money thus generated for public welfare.
Public auction next month: They were ordered in Abbasi’s tenure got delivered now.
6 units of the ultra-luxury Mercedes S600 Maybach were delivered to the Prime Minister (PM) House last week. The vehicles are said to be armored and bomb-proof, as per standard for premiers and state guests, and are valued at Rs. 180 Million (18 Crores) each. In addition to these vehicles, a BMW M760 was also delivered.

What about their use for foreign delegation, especially with all the safety features they come with? Surely you need couple of these.

We already have a few years such older cars selling of the newly delivered ones is a good idea.

They should put a 5 year moratorium on buying new cars by the federal government. I'm sure the cars they have can last 5 years with good maintenance.
