Arsenal have won the FA Cup but have failed to qualify for the Champions League after finishing outside the top four.

Sanchez has a year left on his contract. He's had another stellar season, scoring 30 goals for Arsenal (in all competitions).

He has been linked with various clubs throughout this season including Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Will he stay at Arsenal or will he move to another club?

I think he will go. Arsenal winning the FA Cup will not change that they have failed to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Alexis will go his objective is to win league titles and challenge for the UCL.
None of which my club can do sadly. Now we are in the Europa i expect Alexis to hand in a transfer request in a few weeks and be sold hopefully abroad to a Bayern or a Juve. Would rather let him go on free than to sell to an EPL rival. We already done that too many times.

I think he'll leave. He deserves to win league titles and be competing for the CL title. He's at the peak of his career and has to make do with fighting for 4th place in the league and winning FA cups.

Too big a player for Arsenal ATM intact they should thank him bcz he has done their face saving

Bayern will get him

Arsenal are willing to pay £270,000 per week and Baryen/Juventus will never match that so there is a chance he might stay. Money Talks sometimes more than ambition to win trophies

we may be able to attract one or two top players if Sanchez stays so I would not sell him come what may and risk losing him next season on a free even if that means losing out on £50mz

If we do sell him then we've relegated ourseleves as a mid table team with no ambition of winning and hence can forget attracting top players.

He looked happy enough after the win ... He should stay. He's not as good as he thinks he is. Very greedy and top, top teams won't have him

Manchester United rumoured to be interested in Sanchez and have allegedly put in a higher bid than Manchester City.

Must be torture for Arsenal fans - to see your best players sold to your direct rivals. It’s Van Persie all over again.

First Chamberlain and now Alexis

Must really hurt to be an Arsenal fan at the minute

lol yeah it really hurt Arsenal fans that chamberlain is gone :)) :)) he was deadwood sold at £40M

Sanchez has given us his best years I recon. Maybe a couple of more years left for him at the best. Deserves a premier league title tbh. He would be smart to move to city in this window and lift the pl title this year because who knows who comes out guns blazing and bulks up for the season

City is not a direct rival. Selling to Tottenham and Liverpool is direct rival for 4th position

If we don't sell him we will still only come 6th. The dressing room is lost I'm afraid. It was a terrible decision to give Wenger a 2 year contract

Sanchez will leave but only if Arsenal find a replacement. Walcott could be following him to Saints or Everton. If the former then Liverpool will sign him in the summer, then he will end up at Barcelona in 2019:shadab

London - Arsene Wenger said Friday there is nothing "concrete" on Alexis Sanchez's future despite reported interest from both Manchester clubs but stated he will only be sold this month if Arsenal can find a replacement.

Sanchez, out of contract at the end of the season, is expected to leave the north London club during the transfer window with young Bordeaux forward Malcom linked with a move to the Emirates.

Pep Guardiola's bid to buy Sanchez collapsed at the end of the summer transfer window and City were widely expected to make another move for the Chile forward.

But Jose Mourinho's United have reportedly thrown their hat into the ring, bidding around £25 million to trump City's £20 million offer as they seek to bolster their forward options and deny their bitter rivals.

When asked if United were interested in signing the player, Wenger said "nothing is really concrete at the moment".

Questioned as to whether there was any truth in the rumour, the Arsenal manager was coy.

"You conclude that," he said. "You could say that at the moment... it's not that I don't want to inform you, I don't want to give you wrong information and at the moment I must say nothing is decided one way or the other."

Wenger admitted a bidding war could help Arsenal but said that was not the current situation.

The Arsenal boss, whose side travel to Bournemouth on Sunday, said Sanchez would only be allowed to leave if they could get a new signing over the line.

"Of course, I want a quick resolution," he told reporters at Arsenal's north London training base.

"Is he (Sanchez) replaceable in the way that we find exactly the same player? Certainly not, but there's always a way to find a different balance.

"Alexis is an exceptional football player, he's a world-class player and if that happens (and he leaves) we have to find a different balance in the team."

Theo Walcott is another Arsenal player poised to leave this month, with Everton manager Sam Allardyce revealing on Friday that they are hopeful of sealing a permanent deal.

Wenger said he does not want the 28-year-old to leave, but conceded he cannot guarantee the forward playing time and an unlikely route into Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup.

"Sam Allardyce has made that statement but Theo Walcott is here," Wenger added.

"I have a good relationship with Theo and I don't want him to be frustrated or lose an opportunity to go to the World Cup."

Man City seem to have pulled out as Sanchez only seems interested in money! What's new?? It is his attitude that is the problem, it seems. Klopp surprisingly doesn't seem interested in him leaving Man Utd as possibly being his next destination. I would love to see him at Liverpool, at the said price he would be a bargain. Having turned down Liverpool when he signed for Arsenal it seems as if he is not keen for a movie to the Anfield giants:13:

He wants to move somewhere where he can win league titles and seriously compete for the Champions League - sure Liverpool are headed in a different direction to Arsenal right now but they are still not competing for the big trophies (they haven't won anything for almost 6 years) so I can't see why he would go there even if Klopp was interested.

Man City have pulled out because Arsenal's valuation (£35m) for a player who has less than 6 months left on his contract is ridiculous. City are miles clear at the top - they will just bide their time and sign Sanchez for free in the summer and it won't negatively impact this season's title race for them.

L'pool are in a position to win the CL being in the tournament. Other then City and possibly Chelsea there seems to be no one else fighting for the title for the next few seasons at least. I believe more then anything it is about money that City can pay more then anyone else. Man Utd are not much better then L'pool if at all but he will be happy to go there if they show him more cash. I still don't think City will sign him this month even if Arsenal reduced their asking price, City just want a freebie not that I am blaming them for that. Klopp has only been at Liverpool for two seasons, if Sanchez prefers someone else then that is his choice.

Why am I hearing such low figures floating around? In the current market he's worth at least £100 million.

Arsenal should resist offers and let him go on bosman,

This will ensure Sanchez goes to the best club i.e City.

Anyplace other than City will be a disaster to Arsenal

Still though. A lot of players leave when quite far into their contract.

Yeah but if Arsenal don't sell him now, they'll lose him for nothing in the summer. The bidders only need to wait 6 months to get him for free.

It looks like Wenger is resigned to his departure so it's beneficial for Arsenal to cash in on him now.

Bit surprised to see City taking a step back in this regard but interesting to see how this saga pans out.

UK bidders need to wait just under 6 months but European clubs can speak to him now and have a contract signed. Arsenal are terrible at taking care of players contracts - time and time again they leave key players with 6-18 months left on their contract at which point all the bargaining points lie with the player and any prospective club that wishes to sign him.
