Will any specialist off-spinner play for Pakistan in the near future?

Last off spinner played for pakistan was bilal asif and that was more than two years ago, now a days we are playing iftikhar ahmed in name of an off spinner.

For main spinners pakistan is generally favoring leg spinners and a medium pacer imad wasim. Pakistan in recent times in test matches have failed to control the flow of runs with yasir shah and imo finger spinners can provide better control in such situations.

Sajid khan is knocking on the door and it wont be a bad idea to test him in the next test series.

Mubasir Khan, Aaliyan Mehmood, Arham Nawab, keep an eye on these guys from the current U19 batch.

The thing is, off-spinners in test cricket can be much more accurate compared to wrist spinners. However, they won't generate as much turn as their wrist-spinning counterparts.

I think that it's time Pakistan experimented a little with an off-spinner, though I disagree that it should be a specialist off-spinner.

Nowadays, you need runs even at the lowest part of your batting, which is why Zafar Gohar should be tried at home conditions vs South Africa.

Dont understand we have likes of Sajid, Nauman etc but we still seem to talk as if there are no proper spinners in the country?

Sajid Khan or Ashiq Ali, these are the top two outright Offspinner candidates

If Pakistan chooses a offspin Allrounder then it should be Agha Salman
