Would a Bangladesh series really be unprofitable to host in the UAE?

Watching yesterday day match with more than half stadium fill with bd supporter that too in dubai i suppose some serious head should be roll in pcb especaily marketing department .their is serious potential for pcb to gain decent money by hosting bd in uae.Hopefully sainty prevail to both side board and their is no dead lock . Pcb should host bd in uae for full series than latter on can ask them to play in pakistan .

You want to hear the truth? Well i will give to you.

When we want to tour a side, we don't want to be around a few hundred commandos. Its okay for a small tour or so.

We dont like the fact that PCB are trying to play a dirty game with us. I believe if PCB tried to be more diplomatic they could have convinced BD pretty soon. I mean, do you think you can get a girl to go out with you by being needy. You eventually rule out the possibility of her actually being keen to go out with you eventually.

Don’t put it all on the pcb

I think pcb would need to agree with bcb on playing within the uae and pakistan both. A test series between both nations will be a loss in the uae whereas a test in pakistan may prove to be profitanle in pak but doesnt look like a possibility currently. The pcb can convince bcb to play odis in uae and possibly a t20 series in pakistan.. pcb needs to create more allies than seclude itself. Bangladesh is an emerging cricket nation with a passionate following. Twisting the bcb's arm wont do any good but at the same time bcb needs to stop backtracking on their commitments. Their political agenda with pakistan will not help tbh. Again this is only wishful thinking since the current bd government may not allow this.

We have survived enough to make our stand. Its not like we need them at all costs. There has to be a compromise on the tour with both parties heard but if its going to be as per bcb's desire. We might as well let it go as tbis will only loosen our position. Remember they had agreed to play us before their courts got involved.

It was a pre planned charade.

Duplicitous minnow, not worth bothering with.

Bangladesh fans must think we are mugs. As you pointed out, it was they who said, if you support our candidate for ICC role, we will tour your country. Then promptly turned round and said no, once they got what they wanted. As if that wasn't enough, they played the same trick few more times.

You bend over for the likes of England, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand to play in the UAE as Pakistan needs to play consistently against the bigger teams. But not against Minnows like Bangladesh. They need to understand their place.

Bangladesh need to seriously improve their team before dictating terms with any boards. They are still nobodies in Test cricket even after playing for so many years. Other boards cannot invite them on the basis of just one format. I think what PCB can do is host them for a tri-series in 50 overs format, irrespective of the venue.

PP logic:

Sri Lanka be losing to BD and Afghanistan by large margins. Lanka don't bring in their own sponsors. Lanka don't have too many fans coming to the stadium. They are far far more profitable unlike Bangladesh.

Not intending to insult Lanka in LOIs

The Bangladesh fans would outnumber the Pakistani fans 10:1 in a Test series.

Think it would be profitable :)

Pakistan fans might not tune in as they aren't likely to win games. Jokes aside, it will be a good series and there is a lot of money.

90 percent of the fans are BDeshis at the stadiums these days in UAE.

Big conclusion fron Asia Cup and i am surprised to see Pakistanis being a minority against the Bangladeshiz and even the Afghans in UAE. What sort of a home is this?

I can explain you easily.

PAK is an elite team & it's fans bother only about high profile games. There was only one high profile team (though 2 games against them wasn't that high profile to be honest) which deserved any attention from PAK fans there. Unfortunately, Indians out number PAK fan by several times in UAE - hence those 2 games, there were more Indians. Other games were just not worthy enough for a visit from their fans - only BD, AFG fans turned for the game.

I hope you are being sarcastic bro. Those were close and important games against Afghans/Bangla. Expected better turn out from Pakistanis.
