Azhar Ali speaking after Pakistan's victory against CA XI

"Practice games are really very important and coming here and having a good outing with ball, bat and fielding is a good thing for our preparations for the upcoming 1st Test match"

"Everyone tried their best to get the most out of this game for themselves"

"Obviously playing Pink Ball cricket is different from playing the same type of cricket in UAE"

"In the night the ball seems to do much more and we needed to get experience of that"

"The wicket was not as quick as we thought it would be but we are still satisfied with how we performed"

"The ball swung a lot in the final 3 overs of the 1st day so we got a good idea of what the ball can do but even in the day time it offers a little bit to the bowlers"

"Its important that our guys got time in the middle although getting runs is also crucial but time in the middle is also needed"

"As a batting unit we have the confidence that we have the capability to deliver in such conditions next week also"

"Mickey Arthur has been telling us about playing in these conditions due to his own experience; he has been advising us about batting and how to bowl on these tracks as well"

"Spending time in the middle was important and the pace of the pitch wasnt that quick so the ball wasnt coming on that quick either so it wasnt always possible to play the big shots"

"I changed the gear a bit for myself and went to get some runs today"

"Yasir Shah is improving really well and we are really confident that he will be fit for the 1st Test"

"I take my bowling seriously and always try to get in a few good overs and grab a few wickets where I can"

"The decision to play three left-arm fast-bowlers will be dependent upon the need to win the game; we havent decided yet"

"We didnt see a shark in the Barrier Reef, Thank God"

Azhar had a good match, we ca always rely on him! Hope Yasir will be fir and the rest of the batsmen sort themselves out.

If he isn't atleast 80 % match fit than playing him could turn out to be a disaster. It might be waste of space with Pink Ball and surface having support for pacers mainly and it may worsen his back injury aswell.

If he is 80 % match fit than he should play otherwise Sohail or Imran should replace Nawaz.

History tells us whenever Pakistan Managment is confident of a player being fit in time, it's usually the exact opposite

Well, Nawaz has also made a case for hinself, while it would be harsh to drop Sohail.

Yasir is essential in playing all 3 Tests. Really can't have him missing out on any Test matches.
