Yasir Jan - a possibility for the 2018 edition of the PSL?

In our recent interview with Aaqib Javed, he made the following remarks about Yasir :

'Yasir is a very special bowler. I do not think there has been any fast-bowler in the history of cricket who has been able to bowl in this fashion. This kind of uniqueness is an amazing advantage. He is a trendsetter and believe me you will see many more bowl like him in the next few years’ time. What he has are two different types of deliveries. When bowling with right-arm, the ball will swing away but will swing in when bowling with the left-arm. To have two bowlers in one person is simply amazing.

I think he needs about six months to one year of work to realise his true potential and this is also a reason why we have decided to give him a ten-year contract so that he can concentrate on his cricket. My plan is to include him in the Lahore Qalandars team for the 2018 edition of the PSL'.

How do you rate Yasir's potential and whether he can match Aaqib's expectations of him ?

It is obviously impressive that Yasir has the ability to bowl with each arm and to be able to have natural away swing with the right arm and in swing with the left arm, however, in the future, I'd rather that bowlers focus on being able to swing the ball both ways with one arm rather than one mode of movement with each arm. This is because at the international level, or even at domestic T20 level, teams can analyse and when they realise that the ball will only move one way in one arm, they can plan to nullify the potency of the initial novelty and over time this may potentially no longer be a threat to batsmen rather fodder for boundary targeting.

If he can potentially bowl away and in swing with one arm why the need to use his other arm ?

Bowlers who can move the ball both ways have become ATGs, so not sure why he wouldn't have done that in th first place if he could've.

What are his stats? Just because he can bowl with 2 arms doesn't make him an exciting prospect. Id take someone with strong stats with 1 hand.

To me he looks average with both. In a video I watched they said his right is his strongest.

He is right-handed so that is probably more natural for him but he's been bowling with both arms since he was young and thus seems to be comfortable with both.
