Botham, Gatting, Edmonds, Willis, Stewart.

Well, there’s favorites to watch and than favorites overall.

To Watch:

McGrath, Warne, Lara, Saeed Anwar, Damien Martyn.

Overall:

Flintoff: What a character! A genuine lion on the field and champion ambassador. The last true character of cricket who wasn’t afraid to express himself truly.

Philander: I have a soft spot for bowlers that are not fast, cannot swing the ball, extract little to no bounce but land the ball in the same spot over and over again.

Steve Waugh: Tugga, Iceman, doesn’t matter what you call him. The best player under pressure cricket has EVER seen. Responsible for leading the dominant AUS side of the late 90’s and early 00’s after Border and Taylor had laid the groundwork.

Imran Khan: I don’t think I have ever tried copying his bowling action. Simply because it’s too gorgeous to try and mimic. Greatest cricketer in terms of all-round ability from the sub-continent and perhaps ever. Kallis and Sobers’ bowling are both overrated.

Tendulkar: The single greatest post-WWII batsman the game has seen. I cannot deny the magnitude of his impact on the game worldwide and how exquisite his technique was. Not to mention playing for 24 years at the highest level and scoring 100 centuries! Bravo, even with all the “obvious” shortcomings. :srt
