haha, you don't like BD and Afghanistan, do you?

U19 is something which is hard to predict. I learn about the players only during U19 not before.

Ehsan Mani and Wasim Khan to see out the year?

haha, you don't like BD and Afghanistan, do you?

Just being real. Australia haven't hosted Bangladesh in limited overs matches in over a decade, what makes you think they'll host Afghanistan for a test match? Bangladesh basically have no chance without Shakib, especially in Australian conditions; Netherlands and Scotland both have better fast bowlers.

the rise of south african cricket, emergence of new top class players

propulsion of naseem and shaheen in the iccc test rankings

england to win almost all of their tests

aus to win t20 wc

and ind to win in nz and in aus tests

Bumrah to be injured for majority of the year

Marnus Labuschagne to finish the year ranked above Kohli in tests

Smith to be **** against Bangladesh, Afghanistan, 1st test against India. People saying he is gone before scoring match-winning centuries in the last three tests, winning Australia the series and proving beyond doubt he is a better test batsmen to Kohli

Australia to win the World T20.

They have a great chance to end their duck.

Pakistan wins world t20 by beating India in semi finals ( come we can do it ) lol and Pakistan beats Australia in the final

i know some people say India has a weak u19 team this time around but i feel they will win the final by beating Pakistan or Bangladesh

Pakistan wins Asia cup final by beating Sri Lanka

Australia defeat NZ 3-0.
South Africa and England draw 2-2.
India defeat NZ 2-0 and believe they have reached greatness.
Pakistan beat Bangladesh 2-0. Misbah decides to personally open the bowling because nobody else over 30 is good enough.
Pakistan draw 1-1 in England
West Indies lose 3-0 in England
Pakistan draw 1-1 in NZ. Yasir Shah takes 2-400 in the two match series. Misbah becomes the new spin bowling coach.

By November, India are top of the World Test Championship on 550 points.

Australia are second on 400 points, and will play India in the Final.

Pakistan and England and South Africa and NZ are all bunched between 150 and 300 points.

India arrive confidently in Australia but are shocked that the Kookaburra no longer has a seam at all. And the drop-in pitches are deliberately inserted upside down, to reduce any assistance for the bowlers.

Australia scores over 500 in the First Innings of every Test, just like 2014-15. India also scores 400 too, but loses 3-0.

India leave Australia blaming the umpires for terrible decisions which made them lose.

Basically what I’m saying is that the Australia v India series will be like 2007-8 again. India will come here overconfident because last time they did well against an Aussie team deprived of its best two players, as a result of which they have overestimated themselves and failed to replace veteran players.

India will get beaten in Australia like in 2007-08, not handle the surprise (to them but nobody else) and humiliation like in 2007-08, behave disgracefully like in 2007-08, blame the umpires like in 2007-08 and close ranks and deny responsibility for their behaviour like in 2007-08. I would LOVE to be proved wrong by them on and off the field!

By the end of the year, the 2021-23 World Test Championship will have been amended into two 5 team divisions playing home and away series. And all Tests will be reduced to 4 Day matches.

This current Aus team could be the next great Aussie team.

Australia to defeat New Zealand in the T20 WC final. England will win the U-19 WC.

Australia or England will win the WT20.

India will walk the U-19 World Cup again.

Pakistan will remain rubbish in all three formats and will finally lose in England. The end of 2010s will also signal the end of Pakistan as England’s bogey team.

Babar will continue to progress but will not make enough headlines because of Pakistan’s lack of Tests.

Pakistan will be humiliated by India in the Asia cup. Again.

Kohli will score his 50th ODI hundred and lead his team to a series win in New Zealand and a drawn series in Australia.

By the end of the year, he will cement himself as the greatest Asian cricketer of all time.

Rohit will go from strength to strength in Tests and establish himself as a world class Test opener.

Dhoni will announce his retirement from ODIs and T20s.

Quinton de Kock will have a monstrous year with the bat and will completely his ascendency as the heir to Gilchrist.

Root will be sacked as captain and will revive himself as a run machine while Bairstow will play his last international match.

Anderson will retire after England whitewash Pakistan 3-0.

Australia will be ranked #2 in Tests with Smith, Labuschagne, Cummins and Warner (at home) leading the charge.

Banton and Gill would be the two standout newcomers of the year.

Fawad will get his chance against England but he will fail and will get dropped forever.

Some logical predictions from you. Most likely they will come true. But i laugh at your prediction that Bairstow will play his last international match in 2020. A player so talented and one that seems to be one of the golden boys of the new England Limited overs revival would not be dropped so easily. Check his ODI record and his success as an opener.

I meant Test cricket. He will lose his ODI spot to Banton eventually but definitely not in 2020.

I forsee a new golden era of Pakistan cricket in all formats. Pakistan will produce a talented generation of youngster s who show jazba, daleri and badmashi. They might even manage a drawn test in Australia this decade - an achievement that an entire generstion of Pakistanis have never witnessed

India will decline and whatever wins India manage will most likely happen because of aging opposition, key players banned, favourable pitch, opposition sucking up to BCCI etc .

England will become the new Pakistan - mercurial , exciting - more losses than wins but become the most dangerous side by playing with an even darker Dukes ball at home.

Australia ,on paper, will continue to produce Shan Masood class journeymen like marnus labuschagne who supposedly won't even get into Pakistan team in merit but they'll continue to magically win matches/series despite such mediocrity requiring certain PP experts to do all kinds of mental gymnastics to make sense of their results.

India to draw 1-1 in New Zealand.

England to win every Test of their summer.

India to win the Asia cup in the UAE defeating Afghanistan in the final.

India/Aus to win the u19 world cup.

Eng to win the T20 world cup beating West indies in the final. India and Australia to get knocked out in the semis.

India to lose 2-1 in Australia with Mayank outperforming Kohli, Pujara etc.

Beating Australia (full strength ) in Australia is as tough as beating India in India. I'll be over the moon if we somehow draw the series. And if we win, then hands down that'll be our biggest achievement since 1983.

That is what happened to bumrah in 2019, unlikely that will be repeated again, he will most likely cement his position as the best bowler in the world

I think the smith scernario will happen to kohli

But I agree about labuschagne, he will be the top ranked batsman in tests, even better than smith.

you're sounding like shoaib akhtar . :)

Feel like Rassie van dur Dussen will have s great year and one of Shadab or imad wasim will be replaced with a proper spinner

India will beat NZ.
South Africa will make small steps to being the force they were.
Anderson to retire.
KL will finally live up to his potential.
Oli Pope will cement himself in the England test side.
Kusal Mendis will develop under Mickey Arthur.
Quinton De Kock or Van Der Dussen will replace Faf as captain.

There's bound to be some controversy - fixing etc. Hope it doesn't involve Pakistani players.

this is my prediction;

Australia defeat NZ 3-0.

South Africa beat England 3-1

India defeat NZ 1-0 or draw

Pakistan beat Bangladesh 2-0.

Pakistan beat England in England 2-1

West Indies lose 3-0 in England

England vs india in t20 final
India to win

England destroy australia in t20 semis.
pakistan lose to india in t20 semis.

now for the most important mouthwatering clash of all time. India vs australia 2020.

australia think india will come in over confident but no that's where they are wrong.

kohli's team to take a sample of Australian soil back to india and regrow it at home to prepare for the ultimate clash.

kohli unearths Shaw back to the scene to partner with a beast called Mayank.

kohli picks saini for red ball cricket due to his 6'3 height which will be useful in Australian conditions.

bumrah to be back to his absolute best.

bumrah to hurt smith and warner in the test series rendering them ineffective. soften their chins up with good sweet chin music. Shami on the other end launching balls to break opponents' arms rather than aiming to take wickets.

series ends in a blood bath. India win the series 2-1. start of a new age body line era.
