If WWE were to ever carve out the faces of the 4 most important Superstars in their history who would be on it in your opinion? For me the four most important men in WWE history are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, and John Cena. No one made as impact a mark on the history of the WWE as these 4 men. Like them or not (Not a fan of Hoga) you can't deny the impact they had on the business.

So who would be on your WWE Mount Rushmore? (P.S this is a not a who are your Favorite Wrestlers Thread, it's a thread about who you believe had the biggest impact on the WWE)

The Undertaker is probably the most famous guy in the world, at least 5 years ago he was.

After the attitude era, I've stopped watching wwe.

Mine will be.

Undertaker
Kane (1997 version)
Austin
Chyna

Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Bobby Lashley

The Undertaker
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock
Hulk Hogan

Don't think John Cena deserves a spot and not really aware of the earlier wrestlers. Maybe there are legends from back then that would trump one of these guys.

Hulk hogan was popular. But the character doesn't inspire anything.

If it's just WWE and not the industry as a whole then Hogan and Austin are probably the two most important superstars in their history. Then I would add the Undertaker and Bruno to the list. Honorable mention for Shawn/Bret.

When it comes to the industry as a whole, no one comes close to the Nature Boy Ric Flair.

He’s my favourite wrestler of all time too, however, I feel impact wise he has always played second fiddle weather it be to Stone Cold or John Cena, he’s never been the number 1 guy. But yeah no denying his popularity he’s my all time fav.

What about John? John Cena pretty much carried this company on his back and captained it through the PG era, people can say what they want about Cena, but no one could of done what John did in the PG era. He is in the top tier as far as WWE Superstars go.

John Cena? None except kids liked him. Cena created zero impact on professional wrestling.

Hulk Hogan
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock
CM Punk (started reality era with his pipe bomb segment at RAW)

Cena had a good run but it's an insult to call Taker second fiddle, first of all there would be no Cena without him the same way there is no Hogan without Piper and Taker has transcended them all to the point where a case can be made for him as the greatest ever. People also forget that when WCW got mainstream hot, Taker remained loyal to the company and led the way alongside Shawn and Bret during the 90's golden generation he was as over as either of those guys. From the 90's to the 2010's, Taker's impact can't be comprehended and for this alone he is the most influential and impact full star of them all; I witnessed the entire WM weekend and there was one appearance alone which draw the biggest pop and that was Taker's low key appearance on RAW; at his age past his peak to be getting such a reaction is a testament to the legacy he has left, I don't think Cena will ever command such notoriety but he for sure is up there among the greatest.

Now as CM Punk is back in WWE would be see a title bout between "The best in business" Punk vs "The tribal chief" Roman Reigns. Also CM punk has a score to settle with Seth rollins as well. Let's see with what antics can punk offer us this time around.

I watched mainly during the hulk era and then the attitude era

I'd say Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, The Rock and The undertake would be on Mt Rushmore.

Hogan - put wwe on the map

Austin and The Rock - took it to its peak

Cena and the Undertaker - maintained the wwe to this point

Hogan
Austin
The Rock
Undertaker/Cena

Toss up between the Undertaker and Cena for the 4th spot

My top 4 candidates for MNt. Rushmore would be

1. Hulk hogan
2. Stone cold
3. Undertaker
4. Brock lesnar

Hulk Hogan - Whether you may think of him as a person, there is no doubt that he is the GOAT of wrestling. He was the biggest star in his wrestling history back in his prime. Without Hulkamania running wild between 1984-1993, WWE and wrestling won't be with it is.

Stone Cold Steve Austin - The biggest star of the attitude era, which was the hottest era of wrestling.

The Rock - The second biggest start of the attitude era, and end up become one of the biggest Hollywood stars of all time. The most charismatic WWE performer of all time.

The Undertaker - While he was never on the level of the aforementioned three in terms of star power, he was still a massive star in his own right and the fact that he was able to do it for 30 years was a testament of his greatness.

Hogan, Austin, Rock, & Cena. I really dont think its debatable. These 4 are the most important figures in WWE history.

At WM 30 Hogan, Austin, & Rock kicked off the show. I think for WM 40 they need to bring those guys back with Cena.

That would be fine. However no way should CM Punk be the one to beat Roman.

I was a big wrestling fan from 1999-2010. I used to watch every WWE show. After that, I lost a lot of interest in wrestling, as the WWE product became more kid friendly and my childhood favourites either retired or became part time.

My favourite wrestler of all time is The Undertaker.

Same. I would tune in from time to time after 2010 just to watch CM Punk.

Liked him as a heel when Jeff Hardy was champion, and knew him from ECW… the 2010 era was forcefully pushing Cena too much and Punk was the only figure able to have his own aura in that period..

Heard he came back the other day. Probably the biggest surprise considering how bad the falling out was.

I hope Punk doesn’t mess this up with his attitude this time. Given that WWE are way more professional leadership than AEW, it is less likely that it would happen but you just never know with Punk.

Punk going to WWE now reminds me of Sicario (where they say about Alejandro that he's just a war dog, we unleash him on people he was done wrong by). WWE are just going to give Punk the stage to stick up to AEW here. Plus Punk is definitely a draw, he does numbers. WWE's leadership is much more professional to handle explosive characters. AEW's leadership is basically a spoiled man child and a clique of indie wrestlers who know nothing about running the business.

Undertaker has to be there for sure. And maybe HBK, he was very entertaining
