Zimbabwe are further ahead of Afghanistan than I thought

Afghan batting too slow , a majority of overs gone and they still not even 100.

Disappointing.

Afghanistan is struggling just against Zimbabwe and people were saying that they should be given the test status.

"Just Zimbabwe" The same "just Zimbabwe" beat Pakistan in the last test they played.

Come on. At least understand the difference. How often does that happen and what are the chances of Pakistan losing to Zimbabwe again happening again?

But it happened. And by your logic how do we know Afghanistan won't blow Zimbabwe away the rest of the matches? Exactly.

Well you're right but is one series enough to grant them the test status?

You're the only one talking about test status mate.

Why is it every time an Associate wins/plays well test status is thrown about. Let Afghanistan improve their batting (which is very weak) and their discipline before even talking about it.

No one believes that Afghanistan are ready yet. We arent ready either because our bowling sucks.

Both teams do deserve multi day matches vs Ban/Zim though IMO and lots of ODI's vs Full Members

Would be about 30 people worldwide following this match
You seem very good with numbers!

There is alot of support for the afghan cricket team in Afghanistan and last time i checked , afghanistan's population was in millions.

So just in afghanistan there would be thousands of people following this match. if there is a thread about it on PP, it means there is some interest in other countries too.

As for the match, it was a good score at the end and hope we can defend this.

Afghanistan needs this kind of series to improve ... ICC should fix more such games to develop Afghanistan

If Afghans can get a couple more wickets , and bowl tight overs , there can be a game on.
